Southwester (Hanover) continues to roll in 2A
The Southwestern (Hanover) Rebels got a big rivalry win last nigh and continue to roll in at the Class 2A level. Per Patrick Wooley of Courtside Indiana, last night saw the Rebels defeat a tough Switzerland County team 66-55 to improve to 13-2 on the year. Southwestern (Hanover) was led in scoring by Jamison Lewis Jamison Lewis 6'4" | SF Southwestern (Hanover) | 2024 IN with a team-high 20 points while Landon Kidwell Landon Kidwell 6'6" | PF Southwestern (Hanover) | 2025 IN added 18 points and Peyton Cloud adding 16 points. Cam Craig of Switzerland County had a game-high 26 points.
Richmond stays undefeated
There may not be a hotter team in the state right now than the Richmond Spiders. Last with the win over Muncie Central, the Spiders improved to 15-0 on the year and remain one of the few unbeaten team in the state. 2025 standout and stock-rising guard Cedric Horton Cedric Horton 6'4" | SG Richmond | 2025 State #321 Nation IN had a team high 18-points last night and is continuing to show why he is one of the best guards in the state. Richmond will look to improve to 16-0 when they travel to Madison tonight.
Penn avoids big upset
The Kingsmen of Penn avoided a big time upset last night. It was a low-scoring affair, Penn was able to narrowly escape at home with a 35-31 win over Jimtown, who has only won three games thus far this season. Per Zak Tyler of Courtside Indiana, Penn was led in scoring by Maverick Brown Maverick Brown 6'1" | PG Penn | 2024 IN who finished with a very low game-high of 12 points. Dylan Fey Dylan Fey 6'4" | SG Jimtown | 2025 IN led Jimtown with 9 points. With the win, Penn improves 8-3 this year and snapped a two-game losing skid.
