The Baylor School (10-3), a @PrepHoopsTN favorite to win State Tournament, left Red Bank High with a victory, 50-46. The hosting Lions (12-5) played very well and they still are favorite to win District 6-3A.

Nyziah Whaley Nyziah Whaley Nyziah Whaley 5'9" | PG Baylor School | 2024 State TN scored 12 points to lead his team. Whaley will play college hoops for Lee University.

The Red Raiders owned a height advantage with taller guard Zane Restelli Zane Restelli Zane Restelli 6'3" | SG Baylor School | 2025 State TN and center Jack Shutters Jack Shutters Jack Shutters 6'10" | PF Baylor School | 2024 State TN (North Georgia signee). Red Bank needed to be quicker to compete, and at times they were. Early in the game Baylor School too rarely fed Shutters the rock under the rim. He would have worked out on the smaller Lions, but that is not to say the Red Raiders were impotent. They found other ways to score.

Came up a just a little short tonight against a good Baylor squad. We were led by Anthony Bonner with 17p and 7r. Kamarion Johnson with 8p and 4st. And Kendrick Lloyd with 8p and 5st.

District play starts Friday at Soddy. Back to the 🧪 tomorrow to get better#OutWORK
