<p><strong>1.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='2325439' first='Wyatt' last='Powell'] (MFL MarMac) - 10.0 assists per game</strong></p>

<p>Powell missed the Bulldogs first nine games of the season, but came back right before break and dished out 10 helpers. With him back in the lineup, the 'Dogs could be a team that takes off after the break.</p>

<p><strong>2.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1900233' first='Casen' last='Reid'] (Wilton) - 6.9</strong></p>

<p>A long, smart guard who plays alongside three big-time scorers, Reid does a good job limiting mistakes and turnovers and putting his teammates in positions to succeed. He uses his length and size to see over the defense as well as contribute across the board, averaging 10.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.6 steals a game in addition to his passing and playmaking.</p>

<p><strong>3.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2511611' first='Kyler' last='White'] (North Fayette Valley) - 6.2</strong></p>

<p>White is a pure pass-first guard who is averaging more than twice as many assists as points (2.9) this season. A 5-11 playmaker who keeps the ball moving, he has also done a really good job protecting the ball, posting a 2.44 assist-to-turnover ratio for the TigerHawks.</p>

<p><strong>4.) 2024 Payton Baker (Alburnett) - 5.9</strong></p>

<p>Baker's emergence as a solid ball-handler and playmaker has allowed the Pirates to move both [player_tooltip player_id='1751109' first='Braydon' last='Osborn'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1751108' first='Jordan' last='Caton'] off the ball a bit more, which could be beneficial for the team's long-term success. He sees the floor well and is also a really good on-ball defender.</p>

<p><strong>5.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1476971' first='Noah' last='John'] (Grand View Christian) - 5.8</strong></p>

<p>Following a number of key backcourt losses to graduation, the Thunder needed John to step into a primary playmaker role, and he has done just that and been successful, leading the team in assists while also chipping in 11.3 points and 8.5 rebounds. A big, powerful, and athletic 6-5 forward, he sees the floor well and has improved his ability to create off the dribble.</p>

<p><strong>6.) 2024 Koby Bohr (Postville) - 5.8</strong></p>

<p>Bohr, a 6-5 wing, has put up huge numbers so far this season, averaging 20.7 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.6 steals, and 1.0 blocks a game as well as leading the team in assists. He's an efficient scorer who uses his size to his advantage on both ends of the floor in every facet of the game. </p>

<p><strong>7.) 2025 Matt Elbert (Central Lyon) - 5.8</strong></p>

<p>After playing limited minutes off the bench last season, Elbert has stepped into the starting lineup for the Lions and been very productive, contributing across the board. He's a quick guard who doesn't get sped up, and he handles it well and sees the court at a high level. He's averaging 6.6 points and 4.3 rebounds on 48-39 shooting.</p>

<p><strong>8.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='2325381' first='Lyle' last='Olsen'] (Hudson) - 5.7</strong></p>

<p>Olsen is one of a number of skilled ball-handlers and passers that the Pirates possess, part of what makes them one of the best teams in the class. He does a great job putting constant pressure on the defense with his ability to break down the defense, getting them to collapse and finding open shooters or cutters. In addition to his passing, he's averaging 9.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.6 steals a game on 52% shooting.</p>

<p><strong>9.) 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1874767' first='Brady' last='Weber'] (Mid-Prairie) - 5.6</strong></p>

<p>A 5-9 lead guard who paces the Golden Hawks offense, Weber has done a great job on both ends of the floor, stuffing the stat sheet and contributing at a high level. He's averaging 9.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 2.5 steals a game, and his quick hands and speed make life difficult for opposing teams.</p>

<p><strong>10.) 2024 Sam Boothe (Central Decatur) - 5.4</strong></p>

<p>A 6-1 guard who does it all for the Cardinals, Boothe is leading the team in scoring (16.1) in addition to leading them in assists. He has the ball in his hands a ton and impacts the game on the defensive end as well, averaging 3.3 steals.</p>
