Rob Fields (2025 McDonough, MD) vs McBride Classic
In two games at the McBride Classic, Fields led his team to victories over ANC & Haverford with simply good basketball. The 6’8 big man inevitable on the offensive glass. He had several putbacks and rebounds to boost his team when they needed it. On defense, his activity inside deterred shots at the rim. He was especially clutch in McDonough’s OT win over Haverford when he put up 16 points, 14 boards, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. The night before,, he contributed 16 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks versus ANC.
Greg Guidinger Greg Guidinger 6'6" | SF Central York | 2024 State PA (2024 Central York) vs Coatesville
The senior combo forward gave the home team everything they could handle at the Rip Hamilton Showcase Classic. Finishing with 10 rebounds, Guidinger’s work on the glass was invaluable. He had 4 second-chance points and he got fouled on two of his other offensive rebounds, sending him to the line for another 4 points. His jumper was featured in the third quarter, as he hit a pull-up middy and two spot-up threes. Still uncommitted, Guidinger ended with a 25-point double-double.
Jai’tavius Kelly Jai’tavius Kelly 6'5" | SF Chambersburg | 2025 State PA (2025 Chambersburg) vs Central Dauphin
Chambersburg hosted the perennial District 3 power and Kelly showed out by playing a complete floor game: 17 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. He put his athleticism on display early, taking a steal coast-to-coast before spinning to avoid a defender then laying the ball in. Kelly was all over the place defensively too with his event creation (steals, blocks & deflections). In the fourth quarter, he put the finishing touches on the game with two putbacks and a transition dunk off of his second steal. As he continues evolving from an athletic forward to a play-finishing wing, Kelly’s ceiling will only go up.
Kevin Rucker Kevin Rucker 6'5" | SG Bonner-Prendergast | 2024 State PA (2024 Bonner-Prendie) vs Thomas Jefferson (NY) & Haverford School
The Friars opened the season with two tough matchups and “Pop” demonstrated his ability to be a fourth quarter closer in both of them. With 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals versus Jefferson, Rucker put heavy pressure on the rim with his downhill burst and flexibility. His team needed every bucket he gave them in that up-tempo game. He did the same the following day against Haverford, only in a slower paced game where he contributed 14 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Rucker did whatever he had to do to help his squad win. Across both games, he went to the line a ton, where he shot a combined 17-for-20.
Fazl Oshodi Fazl Oshodi 6'3" | CG Friends Central | 2024 State PA (2024 Friends Central) vs Penn Charter
FCS traveled to Penn Charter and took home the win thanks to a big lift from Oshodi. The unsigned shooting guard started cooking in the first quarter and didn’t cool down. During that period, he gave the Phoenix 12 points with shots from three or at the rim. He also jumped passing lanes for steals and deflections. His jumper kept falling, adding a three in the second and the third (4 total), plus four fourth quarter free throws (6-of-6). Oshodi finished the game with 26 points, 5 boards, and 2 steals.
Ian Williams Ian Williams 5'9" | PG Archbishop Carroll | 2026 State PA (2026 Archbishop Carroll) vs Exeter Township
The second-year starting point guard has produced in every game thus far, but he really went off at the CoBL Tip-Off Event. The bulk of his 28 points and 6 assists came in the first half. Williams scored around the basket with reverse and scoop layups. In a similar fashion, his teammates benefited from his paint touches when he kicked the ball out for open threes. He sank four triples of his own for good measure too. Williams competed on the defensive end, as always, collecting 2 steals and 3 rebounds.
