About Chase
Expert Analysis
Aaron Villa | Prep Hoops Scout
Chase is one of the purest shooters I seen in the whole event. He is able to get his shot off from multiple spots on the court. He is money off the catch and has a very quick release. He can score off picks with pullups from deep or midrange. He has underrated athleticism and will unexpectedly blow by defenders to get to the bucket and finish strong. Chase will have a big year for Chaparral and be a leader on the floor.

Chase started off hot showing he can score in bunches and in multiple ways. He hit five three’s on the night with his smooth and quick release. He has great speed and a quick first step to get by defenders. Chase can stop on a dime, pop up and hit the midrange jumper. He has a nice handle on the ball and often creates for him self off the dribble. Chase had a game high 28 points and counties to put people on notice.

Quick with the ball in his hands and constantly applied pressure on the defense. He played downhill all game, using his burst to get into the lane and finish through contact at the rim. Never let up—stayed aggressive, kept attacking gaps, and made it tough for defenders to get comfortable. His ability to put pressure on the paint opened things up for everyone around him.
