2025 Guards to Watch

He hustles on D, cleans the glass on both ends of the floor, finds his open teammates, doesn't panic under pressure, and he's got a nice jumper to go along with it. One thing I  absolutely love about his game is he never gives up on plays. He's the guy that's going to get his team second and third-chance shots multiple times per game. He uses his size well and he's got a solid build for his age, often taking the physical advantage over his opponents at SG. He's incredibly quick and will keep his opponent on their toes for the entirety of the game. He can get into the lane in an instant and pull up for a high-percentage jumper or blow right past his defender for an easy bucket at the rim. He's a lightning quick passer with excellent court vision and he makes the game easier for his teammates. He's not afraid to bang bodies in the paint and he's an excellent all-around player that does not let up. One thing that will immediately catch your attention about him is his stellar court vision -  he can find open teammates in the thinnest of lanes and make full-court passes with pinpoint accuracy. He's dangerous on the offensive glass and has a great handle going both ways, which makes him difficult to guard. He's got a smooth shot from downtown and skillfully creates his own shots more often than not. He uses his length to his advantage and will sink jumpers over his opponents regardless of the quality of his defender. He can drive effectively to the paint and uses his length to finish with rim-shattering dunks at the bucket. He's a shifty defender with quick hands and his opponents must protect the ball relentlessly against him. He's a solid shooter from the three-point line and has impressive anticipation when running the floor, which makes him excellent on the fast break. He's made up of pure hustle and grit and the supreme rotation on his jumper is a beautiful thing to watch. He can hurt his opponents from beyond the arc or drive the lane with a nice hook shot or easy finger roll from his arsenal of tricks. He's an absolute threat on the offensive glass and possesses a great ability to finish through contact. He regularly fills up the stat sheet with his shot creation, his effort crashing the glass on both ends, and his ability to find open teammates on the break.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65721fe41f0c3"} /-->
