Here were some of the sophomore forward and freshmen standouts:

[player_tooltip player_id='2198867' first='Lukas' last='Toukam'] Bella Vista Prep

One of the longer players you will see. He comes with athleticism and skill. He moves well from end to end and in space on defense. He can rip thru and score or shoot it from mid-range. He is a high level rebounder and has quick bounce to throw it down. This kid is just scratching the surface.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150822' first='Cameron' last='Holmes'] Millennium

A long athletic wing will make plays for his teammates and defend. He blocks shots in space and is an improving man to man and help defender. He will occasionally drive the lane with left hand and can bully his defender to the basket. His defense led to offense with some eye popping athletic dunks. He made clutch FTs under a minute to play in OT that essentially iced it.

[player_tooltip player_id='1482163' first='Cristian' last='Simmons'] Sunnyslope

A bigger forward who can play the four or five for the Vikings. He will hit the catch three point shot and then battle inside for rebounds and will block shots. His play will be very important to how far they can go this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1490241' first='Elijah' last='Summers-Livingston'] Basha

A top of the food chain two-hand rebounder in heavy traffic. He plays hard on both sides of the court. He sprigs up quickly to dunk it, block shots or to rebound. Offensively he scores on tough layups and is a true rim runner with a high motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1464983' first='Mick' last='Riordan'] Boulder Creek

A shooting guard who plays with a high feel for the game. He is a smart passer and shoots it well from the perimeter. He is also a good on-ball defender and is a pure team player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1546975' first='Javon' last='Bardwell'] Desert Mountain (Pictured)

A bigger scoring guard is a talented scorer and super athletic. He can crossover into a runner and takes unusually long strides to get to the basket. He cashes in on his FT's and can hit the three. He is a phenomenal rebounder for position and knows how to hesitate well to get to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150853' first='Jabron' last='Bardwell'] Desert Mountain

A scoring combo guard can pull-up from mid-range and hit catch three. He plays with a lot of energy and has no conscience and high confidence to keep shooting regardless if he made the last two or missed.
