Continue ReadingThe reigning Gwinnett County Player of the Year returns for the Grayson Rams and looks poised to lead them on another deep playoff run. Harris is a big, strong point guard that can single-handedly take over a game with his microwave scoring ability. He’s able to physically dominate smaller guards around the paint or score from the perimeter using his tight handle and rangy three-ball. Harris has recently taken official visits to LSU, Purdue, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech.
Akai Fleming Akai Fleming 6’4″ | SG Osborne | 2025 State #44 Nation GA is a Top 50 junior and one of the Georgia’s best prospects. Now surrounded by a diverse group of incoming transfers, Fleming will look to lead the Osborne program to new heights. He’s a complete three-level scorer, deadly with the pull-up jumpers and also capable of throwing one down over a defender. Fleming can play any of the three perimeter spots effectively and I imagine we’ll see a variety of looks this year for Osborne. Currently holds offers from LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Cincinnati, Indiana, and others.
Ace Bailey Ace Bailey 6’9″ | SF McEachern | 2024 State #2 Nation GA is a shoe-in for this list and in my opinion, still the #1 prospect in the 2024 class. Bailey is such a rare and unique prospect. All summer long, we watched Bailey dominate other Top 100 prospects while consistently putting up 30-40+ points a game. He’s 6’9 and incredibly athletic but also possesses elite guard skills. Bailey can play 1-4 effectively because of his wide array of abilities. He can break down defenders off the bounce, hit tough jumpers, swat opposing layups out of the air, finish putback dunks, and so much more.
Jacob Wilkins Jacob Wilkins 6’9″ | SF Grayson | 2025 State #14 Nation GA was arguably the biggest stockriser of the 2022-2023 season and he’ll look to recreate that success at Grayson, his new home. Wilkins’ combination of acrobatic athleticism and outside shooting make for a very interesting stretch-4 package. He’s a highlight waiting to happen, never shying away when he has the opportunity to posterize a defender. The froncourt duo of Jacob Wilkins Jacob Wilkins 6’9″ | SF Grayson | 2025 State #14 Nation GA and Amir Taylor Amir Taylor 6’8″ | PF Grayson | 2025 State #198 Nation GA will be one of the more dominant in the state as each guy compliments the other well. Wilkins recently took an official visit to Virginia and also hold offers from Georgia, Alabama, Indiana, and Cincinnati.
While Wheeler may not feature the 4 and 5-stars that they’ve had in years past, they’ll be deep with D1 talent and Josh Hill Josh Hill 6’10” | C Wheeler | 2024 State #167 Nation GA will be asked to step up in a big way. Hill can completely alter a game if you don’t prepare accordingly, extremely confident from the three-point line and elite when it comes to rim protection. He’s very long and runs the floor hard too. There’s still a ton of upside to tap into and whoever lands him will have a special project on their hands. Marquette, Xavier, George Mason, NM State, Arkansas State, and Iona are all in the running.
