Here is a look back at the better wings/forwards from this past weekend's Prep Hoops Illinois Top 250 Camp in Romeoville!

[player_tooltip player_id='1874734' first='Irfan' last='Khan'] 6'2 Schaumburg Christian 2024

Khan was one of the better shooters from the camp hitting threes from multiple spots. Irfan is more of a catch-and-shoot wing but he also made some shots on the move. He is a player who releases the ball quick on catches. Small colleges who need a shot specialist should reach out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1828444' first='Kobe' last='Johnson'] 6'2 Rich Township 2025
Kobe is a wing player who has good length and size. I liked his ability to be crafty around the rim. He showed good poise in the midst of a crowded area. Johnson is very skilled and has three-level scoring ability. The jump shot looked fluid and he has the attributes to be effective on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2218169' first='James' last='Johnson'] 6'4 Washington 2026
James has a solid build for a sophomore. He uses strength to shed guys off of him when attacking the rim. James plays hard and has a bright upside to his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552404' first='Jake' last='Pollack'] 6'7 Deerfield 2026
Jake is a stretch forward who has a nice touch from three. He shoots the ball with a high release point making his shot very difficult to disrupt. Pollack showed some promise around the rim making basic post plays to score over smaller guys. As a defender Jake is a space eater, crashes the boards well, and gets anything in his area. As a rim protector he defends straight up and detours many shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2217947' first='Bobby' last='Grganto'] 6'5 Downers Grove North 2025
Bobby is a bigger forward that has made several threes in the game I watched. He is a versatile forward who showed flashes of grabbing boards and pushing the fastbreak. Grganto is pretty athletic and moves well for his size. He is a player to monitor this season.

Ian Flowers 6'2 Julian 2026
Flowers is a solid wing with size and skill. He was able to get in the lane and make plays for himself and his teammates. Ian made a few shots from three but is more of a slashing wing than a shooter. He displayed quick hands on defense getting a couple of steals in one-on-one matchups. Flowers is another player to monitor during the season.

Keyshawn Wade 6'3 Kankakee 2025
Wade is an interesting prospect. He showed good length and activity in games. He runs the court well scoring easily when slashing to the rim. Wade has good twitch motion on defense that helps him guard multiple positions. In the final game of the day, he hit two really big threes to win his team the game including the game-winner.

[player_tooltip player_id='2217959' first='Dustyn' last='Collins'] 6'5 Centralia 2025
I enjoyed watching Collins play. He is a bouncy forward who attacks the boards hard on each shot attempt. In the open court Dustyn has several dunks in the lane he even caught a flashy pass off the backboard that had everyone excited. Collins is very steady around the rim and scores often through contact. Small colleges will love Dustyn with his motor and activity on both sides of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874752' first='Kenaz' last='Jackson'] Jr. 6'3 Kankakee 2026
Jackson is a player with a bright future ahead of him. He is at his best on fastbreaks opportunities. Kenaz can finish multiple ways at the basket. His better plays were as a passer dropping pinpoint dimes to teammates cutting to the rim. The Kays have another young prospect who will be good down the line.

[player_tooltip player_id='2217976' first='Luis' last='Solis'] 6'4 Minooka 2024
Solis is a fundamentally sound undersized post player. He can play with his back to the basket at times but is very effective as a face up forward in the mid-post. Luis has soft hands and good footwork when near the rim. He made some tough catches in tight windows for baskets.
