This past week I was tasked to help on scouting the Prep Hoops Washington Top 250-Expo event remotely. While I was watching the athletes compete out there in each contest, I like to take small "live" notes, explaining somethings about the player and their performance in that moment. Below I will be highlighting players that stood out to me from afar, while stating what their "live notes" were during their games.

*Players listed as: (Jersey #, Name, Class, Size, College Position, Current High School) - For rewatching purposes on BallerTV.

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

#303 - Brenddan Nightingale - 2024 - 6'7 - Forward - Terry Fox Secondary High School

"Stands with nice size and speed for that size. Can move to the post and dominate a smaller matchup or he can spread the floor with his play from the three point line. Does a lot of good on the floor with a high motor in everything he is trying to accomplish. Is a fast and efficient worker, who is NOT afraid of contact but more-so welcomes it."

#221 - [player_tooltip player_id='1485680' first='Liam' last='Sheeran'] - 2025- 5'11 - PG/SG - North Thurston High School

"Lengthy guard with touch on the ball at all three levels on the offensive side of the floor. Can drive going either way with the knowledge of when he should pull up compared to getting all the way to the rim. Is a good communicator to the teammates around him at all times. Keeps ball on a string when driving. Good in the open court when he has options around him in transition."

#217 - [player_tooltip player_id='2205055' first='Matthew' last='Adeeb'] - 2026 - 5'11 - PG - Lake Washington High School

"A creator and distributor to everyone around him. Always a threat to attack his opponents, looking to blow by them for a layup or an assist to someone cutting to the basket. Isn't afraid to shoot it from all three levels but is at his best working inside the three point line after breaking down his defender off of the dribble. A WE > ME type player."

#298 - KyShawn Johnson - 2024 - 6'6 - Bullard High School

"Physically superior to most around him. A raw talent that shows glimpses of having some skill on both sides of the floor. Someone who is very good when he can catch near the hoop or limit his dribbles to one or two per touch. Someone that I would NOT want to contest at the rim. His athleticism wasn't matched by many on Sunday and that was very obvious."

#275 - [player_tooltip player_id='1978881' first='Keith' last='Kariuki'] - 2024 - 6'3 - PG - Sammamish High School

"Another player that has size and speed going down hill against opponents. Very good when driving to the hoop in 1V1 situations. Tends to drive going left and pull up going right but too small of a sample size to tell for sure. A handful once he gets you in a solo situation defensively. If teams use him correctly and he creates when the offense breaks down, he could have a promising future on a college floor someday."

#245 - [player_tooltip player_id='1954955' first='Nathan' last='Gardner'] - 2025 - 6'3 - SG - Mount Si High School

"Long shooter that doesn't force any action. Shows that he always wants to let it go on the catch but understands the situations in which he actually should. Isn't bad when he has to put it on the ground and protect but would rather catch off of a pass and go to work. Keeps the game simple and lets it come to him, bringing a lot of success to himself and his teammates."

#296 - [player_tooltip player_id='1587998' first='Noah' last='Schow'] - 2025 - 6'5 - Forward - Tenino High School

"Didn't see a whole lot out of him but the moments he made count were noticeable. Good fundamental basketball player. Lengthy build with good touch near the rim. Does a little bit of everything out there on the floor for his team. Isn't afraid of contact while usually having a mismatch in his favor, in his 1V1 situations."
