Recruiting Report: Isaac Undlin (2019)
Six-foot-5 Isaac Undlin of Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood is one of the most explosive players in North Dakota. The junior is about to put up massive numbers for MLS.
MLS was 10-12 last year but the hope is that with an upperclassmen Undlin leading the way the season should go very well.
“Hopefully make it to the regional semis or championship,” Isaac said about the upcoming winter. “We lost three seniors but have plenty of young talent coming up and kids with experience from last year coming back.”
Isaac himself has a few things he wants to do better as an upperclassmen.
“I’m working on my ball handling and being a more consistent shooter from outside,” Isaac said.
ECI won just over half of their 16u games this year and finished strong with a title game finish in the Adidas Prospect Series.
“My highlights were in Milwaukee where we made it to the championship and played really well together and shared the ball and made shots,” Isaac told PHD.
“My game improved because I played in the post all summer which was a position I have played, just not a lot of.”
Undlin is hearing from several NSIC programs and local schools.
“I’m hearing from Northern State in Aberdeen, U of Mary in Bismarck, Minot State University, Jamestown, and Southwest Minnesota State University.”
