Scott saved the best for last in leading the way for his squad with 17 points, two rebounds and an assist in their victory over Team Raleigh. He relentlessly attacked the basket and put constant pressure on their guards to stop him from getting to the painted area.
Right behind him was Kingston Beale Kingston Beale 6'4" | SF Garner Magnet | 2026 State NC , who finished with 13 points on two made 3-pointers and 5-of-8 shooting from the field. He used an efficient performance to lead the way off the ball for the Athletic Freaks on the wing. Another notable name who led the way throughout the day for the Athletic Freaks was unsigned senior Tayshaun Whitner Tayshaun Whitner 6'0" | PG Garner Magnet | 2024 State NC . He’s really starting to emerge and find his way confidently knocking down midrange and perimeter shots. He posted 23 points on 7-of-12 shooting and one made 3-pointer against C-Town Elite in their semifinal victory and saw himself walk away with All-Tournament team honors.

Stone Holcombe Stone Holcombe 6'1" | SG Cary | 2025 State NC is a name in the 2025 class who turned heads with his ability to knock down shots at volume on the perimeter. He was a top shooter for his squad at OneDay Bump 8, knocking down six 3-pointers across their two appearances at OneDay Bump 8. He’s a 6-foot-1 shooting guard who showed confidence in stepping up on the perimeter and hitting shots with efficiency as he averaged 16.5 ppg. He’ll be a name in NC’s 2025 class to track with his shooting prowess on the hardwood going forward.

He’s a gritty guard who has shown he can rebound the ball and get things going as he did for his squad at OneDay Bump 8, especially with Chris Uwayo Chris Uwayo 6'1" | CG Panther Creek | 2024 State NC sitting out of their second game (rest).

Andrew Grimes Andrew Grimes 6'8" | PF Clayton | 2025 State #307 Nation NC has made quite the climb in his development as he stood out for C-Town Elite at OneDay Bump 8. He’s an athletic and mobile forward prospect who’s starting to develop into an all-around presence around the rim and painted area. Grimes had 27 points to lead the way for his squad in their first victory then followed that up with a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double to show off his ability to be a presence in the painted area. The Liberty commit has a big chance to lead by example ahead of him as he enters the final two years of his high school career.
