An inexperienced group that will look to Wetzel to lead them. Most nights he will be options A, B, and C and will look to show that he can continue the winning ways at Heritage Hills.

The athleticism continues to make strides for Heritage Hills 2027 Forward Tait Wetzel Tait Wetzel 6'6" | C Heritage Hills | 2027 State IN . Made several plays off offensive rebounds where off his vertical he dunked it back home. Motor is getting better on the defensive end. Big time rebounder that showed he’s capable of ripping off the defensive glass and pushing in transition. Offensively he’s an inside-out big that is relentless in getting downhill. Strong finisher that absorbs contact well and gets to the free throw line where he converts at a solid clip. Has shown range out to the three-point line, and knocked down a couple in the games I saw, but did a good job of not settling.

Tait Wetzel Tait Wetzel 6'6" | C Heritage Hills | 2027 State IN has transformed himself into a versatile inside-out big man that scores the ball in a variety of different ways. He has always been an outstanding rebounder, his athleticism has taken a step forward and his mobility as a defender has improved. Holds three offers from IU-Kokomo, Saint Francis, and Brescia.

One of the better big man prospects that I had a chance to see this weekend was Tait Wetzel Tait Wetzel 6'6" | C Heritage Hills | 2027 State IN of Heritage Hills HS. Wetzel runs with Indiana Elite Team Indiana 2027 and is one of the more skilled big men you will find at that level. He did a great job in post-up actions being aggressive at the defense and drawing the contact to get him to the line. He is also a big that can stretch it a little as well.

The 6’6” Heritage Hills/ Indiana Elite Team Indiana Forward continues to improve every time I see him. The mobile inside-out forward has expanded his game on both ends of the floor. Capable three-point shooter off the catch while showing his ability to drive closeouts with improved athleticism finishing above the rim. Versatile defender that rebounds at a high level while being a legit rim running big man. He continues to be one of the premier players in the 2027 Class in Southwest Indiana that continues to evolve his skill set.

The Junior Heritage Hills Big Man made huge strides throughout season. Legit inside-out scoring threat, Wetzel uses his body as well as any post player in the area on both ends of the floor. He’s a high level rebounder that plays with a high motor.

Heritage Hills will be playing in one of the tougher Class 3A Sectionals in the state next week but luckily for them, they have one of the best frontcourt advantages in junior center Tait Wetzel Tait Wetzel 6'6" | C Heritage Hills | 2027 State IN . The 6’6 big man will come into Sectional play averaging 13.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game for the Patriots. He is a force on the glass, scores with a soft touch, and makes things difficult on the defensive end. You can watch him this week when Heritage Hills opens up Sectional play vs the winner of Mt.
