Thompson made a huge impression at the Prep Hoops Expo and his performance definitely made clear his ability and growth over the years. Generally, when you see a kid wearing goggles, he can play. Thomspon certainly can play. He has great size and elite athleticism. He is an active agitator on both sides of the ball and plays with great IQ. He is kind of a throwback player in that he just dominates the basics of the game. He jumps really high on his mid-range shots and can finishe with either hand. St. Augustine constantly develops great players, and I feel safe saying it’s time to add Mr. Thompson lll to that list.
