With the NCAA transfer portal jamming up high school recruiting, we expect the steady stream of talented players switching schools to continue here at the end of August. Many of them will chose to reclass into a later graduation year.

Ethan Johnston Ethan Johnston 6'5" | CG Hill School | 2026 State PA – 6’2” / 2026 / Hill School / New Heights EYBL / Combo Guard: The addition of Johnston gives Hill’s roster a needed injection of backcourt talent to help offset elite shooting guard Trey O’Neil Trey O’Neil 6'1" | CG Hill School | 2024 PA transferring to IMG Academy. Johnston is an all-around playmaker who contributes at both ends of the court. His dribble drive game is tough to defend, and he is an extremely accurate perimeter shooter. Johnston spent last season at Dwight School (NY).
Aamir Murray Aamir Murray 6'0" | SG Constitution | 2024 State PA – 6’2” / Post Grad / Tri State Prep / Mt. Pleasant Bulldogs / Combo Guard: Murray (8 ppg.) is a triple threat guard who is one of most underrated backcourt prospects in SEPA. The former Constitution standout is an elusive transition scorer, can drain threes and distribute the rock. He scored a season high 16 points vs. Olney last winter. Murray was also a key member of the MPB grassroots squad that was annually ranked in our top 10.
Tylar Okai-Koi – 6’3” / 2025 / Phelps School / Pro Level Titans / Combo Guard: Okai-Koi is a long athlete with an endless motor who averaged 14 points and 4 assists per game at last season at New Explorations STM (NY). He is a versatile prospect who excels transition and can splash threes in the half-court all day. Last season Okai-Koi posted a 31-point game against Lab High School (NY). This summer he hung 37 points on All Hallows (NY). In addition to transferring to Phelps, Okai-Koi will reclass into the 20025-graduate year.
Calvin Smith Calvin Smith 6'3" | SG Devon Prep | 2025 State PA – 6’3” / 2025 / Devon Prep / PA Hoops Academy / Shooting Guard: Smith’s reputation as a dead-eye three-point shooter proceeds him. He is a multi-skilled sniper who can knock home triples of every variety. The former Harriton starter is also an underrated dribble drive threat. Smith will use a nice ball fake, then put the ball on the deck to create for himself or teammates. This summer at Philly HS Live Smith netted 21 points against St. Andrew’s (DE).
Mason Thear Mason Thear 5'11" | CG Devon Prep | 2025 State PA – 5’11″ / 2025 / Devon Prep / PA Hoops Academy / Combo Guard: In 2022-23 Thear produced a breakout season as he helped push Perkiomen Valley to the state tourney. Thear (12 ppg.) can score in the open court, shoot threes, and slash to the cup for a catch and lay-in. Last season he scored 21 points (4 triples) against Pottstown. Back in June, Thear was extremely impressive during a 22-point outburst at Philly HS Live.
