This coming weekend we have one last event, the Twin Cities Takedown, it is going down at Wayzata High School. We have a nice group of North Dakota teams attending TC Takedown. PHD will be there to take it all in!
In this article, we are previewing 3ND Hoops Fam 2025. PHD has not watched them live since May, so it will be fun to see how they have improved over that time.
PHD chatted with coach Crawford and he talked amount the excitement of getting back on the court and seeing the guys play one last tournament. Coach wants to see the improvement from his players and see how far they have come since the spring. The 3ND ballers have worked hard, put in the time, and have gotten a ton of shots up. It sounds like 3ND Hoops Fam will have a full squad, they will have their guys back from injuries, baseball, and other activities. Coach Crawford wants to end the season on a high note and send his players back to their high school programs ready to roll for the hoops season.

Tamari Carter Tamari Carter 6'2" | CG Minot | 2025 ND (2025) |6’2 G| Minot
He is a creator, penetrator, and his floater game is awe-inspiring. Tamari is ambidextrous with his runner/floater and he also scores with both hands at the cup. Carter is a playmaker on both ends that makes a ton of positive plays on defense. He gets the job done on-ball, is excellent on help-side, and he contests/blocks shots. Tamari is a smooth athlete that is talented with the ball in his hands. Look for him to create his own shot and for him to thrive in iso-situations.
Kaden Flavin Kaden Flavin 5'11" | CG Minot North | 2025 State ND (2025) |5’11 G| Minot
He has improved throughout the AAU season. Flavin is playing very good basketball at the moment. He is an all-around player that can put up points from all 3-levels. Kaden can score in bunches but he is also unselfish. I hope to see him put the pedal to the metal this weekend and for him to have some big-scoring games.
Carson Sessing Carson Sessing 6'0" | CG Minot | 2025 State ND (2025) |5’11 G| Minot
He is having a breakout summer. Sessing recently had a minor injury but will be back ready to roll at the TC Takedown. Carson has produced at a high level this summer and I expect that to continue at Wayzata. He is a great team player that can catch fire and take over a game. I am looking forward to seeing Sessing’s silky smooth pull-up and 3-point shot. I will not be surprised when Carson fills it up!
Cody Rice Cody Rice 6'1" | CG Powers Lake | 2025 State ND (2025) |6’1 G| Powers Lake
He is the most improved player on the 3ND team. Rice has upgraded his offense, defense, and rebounding. Cody has looked good slashing to the rim, has moved well without the ball, and he thrives in the dunk spot. Cody knows his role and he does not try to do too much. He is always contributing in a positive way even if it does not show up in the stat sheet. Rice missed the last tournament, so he should be playing inspired. I am excited to see Cody play one more time this AAU season.
Camden Aufforth Camden Aufforth 6'1" | CG Minot | 2025 State ND |6’0 G| Minot
He is a spot-up knockdown three-point shooter. Aufforth has been the top FT% shooter on the team this season and he is one of the best 3-shooters in the city of Minot. Camden has made great strides on the defensive side of the ball, his D has really improved. His handles have also come along nicely. Aufforth can put the ball in the hole. The question is, will it only be from the 3-point arc? I am interested to see if he can make plays off the bounce and score at the rack.
Alex Blume Alex Blume 6'1" | CG Williston | 2025 MN (2025) |6’1 G| Williston
He is a capable scorer that can put up points when needed but Blume really standouts out with his point guard play. Alex is a table-setter and a creator. He is an excellent passer and he jump-starts the 3ND transition game. He is a versatile player that can D up, score with versatility, make things happen in up-tempo, and run the offense. I am excited to see this multiple-sport athlete ball out.
Kaiden Helm Kaiden Helm 6'3" | SG Minot North | 2025 State ND (2025) |6’3 G| Minot
He has been dealing with an injury as of late but should be ready to roll this weekend. It will be interesting to see how his endurance is after having some time off. Helm has had a great spring and summer. He scores, creates, facilitates, and makes everyone better. PHD is expecting Helm to go out with a bang at the TC Takedown.
Makiya Berryhill Makiya Berryhill 6'0" | SG Bismarck Legacy | 2026 State ND (2026) |5’11 G| Bismarck Legacy
He normally does not run with 3ND and Berryhill will be playing up an age group. However, he should fit right in. It will be fun to see Makiya test his skills against the older players. He is an athletic and fluid player that can do a bit of everything.
