Elite prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania (and beyond) continue the annual ritual of announcing that they will be changing high schools for next year. With the NCAA transfer portal jamming up high school recruiting, we expect the steady stream of talented players switching schools to continue all summer. Many of them will reclass into a later graduation year.

At Prephoops.com we will do our best to track all the player movements and pass that information on to our readers.

Below is the tenth installment in our Transfer Watch 2023 series.

Keron Booth – 5'8” / 2027/ Episcopal Academy / [program_tooltip program_id='2078678' first='East' last='Coast Power'] / Point Guard: Booth is a quick floor general with elusive handles. When you combine those assetswith his endless motor, you get a guard who scores with ease in transition. Booth also owns a respectable jump shot. At the other end, he is high energy on-ball menace. In 2022-23 Booth was at the Haverford School and saw varsity minutes. He should have an immediate impact at EA.

Terrence Cobb – 6'1” / 2024 / Rocktop Academy / Prim3 Tim3 / Combo Guard: This former Chester standout is a walking bucket. Cobb thrives in transition, can splash threes of every variety, and owns a deep bag of half court dribble moves. Cobb is a smooth lefty, but he can convert around the rim with either hand. In 2022-23 Cobb posted a season high 33 points and had multiple games where he connected on five or more 3PAs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1123895' first='Chase' last='Coleman'] – 6'2″ / 2024 / Rocktop Academy / NY Rens EYBL / Combo Guard: Last season Coleman (18 ppg.) wasa starter and key piece in Plymouth Whitemarsh's 2022-23 District 1-6A championship team. Last month Coleman was declared ineligible by the PIAA for next season because of age eligibility rules. With his impressive athleticism and ability to score at all three levels, Coleman will be a major addition to the Rocktop Academy roster.

[player_tooltip player_id='2235863' first='Matt' last='Gilhool'] – 6'9" / 2025 / Penn Charter / [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] UAA / Power Forward: In 2022-23 this stretch-4 style forward averaged 10.7 points and 8.4 rebounds per game while playing for the Westtown School. Gilhool is an athletic and multi-skilled lefty who runs the floor like a wing, shoots the 3-ball and can bang on the interior. Gilhool's mid-range game is unstoppable too. He originally announced he was departing Westtown to spend his senior season at Long Island Lutheran (NY). However, Gilhool recently flipped to Penn Charter and will reclass into the 2025 graduate year. Gilhool holds a dozen DI offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1123922' first='Ty' last='Mishock'] – 6'1” / 2024 / Spring Ford / [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] / Combo Guard: A three-year starter at Devon Prep, Mishock averaged 13.5 points and 4 assists per game while shooting 39% from behind the arc during his junior campaign. This smooth combo-guard shoots it well from multiple spots on the floor and can score off the bounce. Plus, he owns the dribble skills and basketball IQ to run as a primary ball handler. His addition to the already talented Spring Ford lineup will spell trouble for PAC opponents. Mishock recently received an offer from Lehigh.

[player_tooltip player_id='2235889' first='Tommy' last='Vaughn, Jr']. – 5'11" / 2025 / Phelps School / We R1 UAA / Combo Guard: Vaughn is an incredible athlete with speed, ridiculous hops and all the basketball skills to succeed at the collegiate level. He can drain threes, get to the cup off the dribble and play in transition. He often finishes fast breaks with authority. Last season at Sanford (DE) he scored a career-high 39 points in a win over Wilmington Christian (DE). As a bonus to his scoring prowess, Vaughn can facilitate for teammates. In 2022-23 Vaughn was an Honorable Mention All-State selection. In addition to transferring to Phelps School, Vaughn will reclass into 2025 graduate year.
