All In Athletics Gold 17U Starts Day Off With In-State W

We opened the day checking out All In Athletics Gold scoring a 79-60 victory over Big 3 Hudson. Extremely well balanced performance from AIA. Buffalo Grove sharp shooting lead guard [player_tooltip player_id='1432523' first='Connor' last='Woodin'] got them going hitting five threes in this one from distance for 15 points. His backcourt mate [player_tooltip player_id='1965004' first='Sam' last='Lappin'] was a plus shooter from mid-range, had the runner game flowing, and got to the line for 13 points. On the wing [player_tooltip player_id='1541237' first='Jack' last='Dabbs'] of Stevenson was excellent as a spot up shooter along with passing on the move. Warren 6'5” small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1874672' first='Alex' last='Daniels'] is a 2024 that is emerging with his inside/outside game which netted him 16 points. Inside it was [player_tooltip player_id='1978579' first='Camden' last='Lathos'] rebounding in area, rim running, hook shots, and knocking in spot up shots for 13 points.

For Big 3 they got a nice outing from [player_tooltip player_id='2105085' first='Brendan' last='Savage']. The Hinsdale South shooting guard made an array of jumpers from two and three for 15 points. Marko Milacic is an international transfer that has yet to pick an Illinois high school yet, but expect him to make noise this season as a plus shooter with strength as he can also post up too. Went for 12 points. Inside [player_tooltip player_id='1428908' first='Brady' last='Chambers'] anchored on the glass, scored in traffic, and stretched out for a three.

Hardwood Elite 17U Takes Victory Against Hoops4Health

Next up was Hardwood Elite out of Missouri taking home a win 67-62 against [program_tooltip program_id='2075515' first='Hoops' last='4 Health']. [player_tooltip player_id='1598839' first='John' last='Renken'] really stepped up in this one for Hardwood Elite. The versatile forward poured in 26 points in the win scoring inside and out. Also liked what we saw from their lead guard [player_tooltip player_id='1160843' first='Caden' last='Casey'] as a scoring combo that has a soft touch finishing game. Timberland (MO) combo forward Nathan Carroll is one to track with his ability to get on the offensive glass and run the floor.

Unsigned senior Tolu Samuels from Hillcrest led the way for Hoops4Health with 16 points. Long and lanky combo forward that can stretch the floor and is super athletic getting to the rim in the half court and transition. [player_tooltip player_id='1295566' first='Devin' last='Tyda'] continues to impress this spring as the 2024 guard is a crafty bucket getter off the bounce netting 14 points.

[program_tooltip program_id='2076904' first='Chicago' last='Hoops'] Narrowly Defeats All-In Athletics Gold in Tight 16U Matchup

This was a fun Illinois battle as [program_tooltip program_id='2076904' first='Chicago' last='Hoops'] topped All In Athletics Gold 67-63 in a 16U contest. The story in this one was [player_tooltip player_id='1550741' first='Jacob' last='Rice'] from St. Laurence. He was a force for [program_tooltip program_id='2076904' first='Chicago' last='Hoops'] with his feathery pull up game from two and three. The well built two guard can really score it pulling up from two and three with consistency along showing he could finish with either hand at the rim in a 25 point performance. His junior running mate at St. Laurence [player_tooltip player_id='1545122' first='Caleb' last='Lindsey'] displayed defensive versatility along with improved shooting from deep hitting a couple for 9 points. Watch out for [player_tooltip player_id='2125677' first='Reggie' last='Stevens'] from St. Laurence as this 2027 point guard brings size, length, and shot making as he racked up 13 points. Marmion Academy two guard [player_tooltip player_id='1544818' first='Bradley' last='Stratton'] had a nice weekend as a plus perimeter shooter notching 12 points in this one.

For AIA they got a big outing from Addison Trail combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1977254' first='Luke' last='Smith']. Crisp ball handler that got to his spot and was a plus pull up shooter from three. Also an effective driver on sweeping layups as well as kicking to his teammates while scoring 23 points. [player_tooltip player_id='1766478' first='Achillies' last='Anderson'] from Marist is a strong bodied combo forward that is a mismatch. Has a great combination of skill and power. Can post up weaker defenders and finishes well around the cup as he had 12 points.

[program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] Gold 16U Features Underrated Prospects in 2025 and 2026

Really enjoy watching the [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] Gold 16U squad. They won 67-61 over 24:Up on Sunday. [player_tooltip player_id='1545144' first='Samuel' last='Hirsch'] from Fremd is a big wing that can really score it. Has burst off the dribble getting downhill for slashes along with pushing in transition. [player_tooltip player_id='1564889' first='Aidan' last='Bardic'] of Stevenson is a plus passer that runs the show zipping passes all over the floor. Grant 2025 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2105287' first='Braylon' last='Gray'] emerged with a strong performance as an athletic two guard that can get downhill with regularity. The highest upside prospect of this group is 2026 center [player_tooltip player_id='2105376' first='Colin' last='Stack']. Legit 6'9” five that can step out to hit a three, has a great hook shot, and really protects the rim.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075957' first='The' last='Work Foundation'] and Midwest–G2G Matchup with Tons of Emerging Prospects

There were a ton of prospects to monitor in this one as [program_tooltip program_id='2075957' first='The' last='Work Foundation'] won 75-69 against Midwest G2G. Morgan Park 2024 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2104966' first='Fountain' last='Thomas'] gave them a spark early on in his one. The strong and compact guard has such a great burst with the rock to the rack and speed in transition racking up 14 points. Perspectives 2025 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2105267' first='Dillon' last='Fountain'] was a major factor from distance as a spot up shooter especially from the corners as he had 14 points. Really like what Simeon combo forward [player_tooltip player_id='1439013' first='Julien' last='Doyle'] brings in the 2025 class as a versatile defender that blocks shots in bunches, gets teals, and finishes out of the dunker spot for 11 points.

G2G was pushed by Rockford Lutheran 2024 small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1541240' first='Vontez' last='Dent']. The small forward is a downhill slasher that is starting to show more of a perimeter game hitting a pair of threes en route to 17 points. Perspectives guard [player_tooltip player_id='1598743' first='Keshaun' last='Vaval'] had flashes especially using his quickness to win off the dribble for acrobatic layups at the cup along with multiple and-1s for 15 points.

Russell Pushes [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2076910' first='Meanstreets' last='']' last=''] Napier over [program_tooltip program_id='2081813' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2081813' first='Archangels' last='']' last=''] 17U

[program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2076910' first='Meanstreets' last='']' last=''] Napier recorded a 58-44 W against [program_tooltip program_id='2081813' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2081813' first='Archangels' last='']' last=''] in an all-Illinois 17U contest. Crete Monee's [player_tooltip player_id='2104970' first='Tay'Shun' last='Russell'] was outstanding as the smaller scoring guard hit an array of threes both creating on his own and spotting up, used his speed in the open floor, and was pesky defensively going for 24 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2104976' first='Elijah' last='Luxton'] went down with an injury, but the Rochelle wing is definitely one to monitor with the way he can shoot it and the athleticism he brings on the wing. Tony Tyler of Marshall was a physical presence cleaning up on the glass and finishing inside.

Colby Cox is an undersized four man for [program_tooltip program_id='2081813' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2081813' first='Archangels' last='']' last=''] who led the way with 11 points. Very good offensive rebounder.

M14 Adidas Gold 16U New Addition Helps Them in Win vs Big 3 Hudson

Last game of the event we caught was M14 Adidas Gold 16U's win against Big 3 Hudson 81-71. Oak Lawn 2025 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1766472' first='Donte' last='Montgomery'] is new to this squad and he steps in perfectly as a go to perimeter scorer. Slick handle getting to the rack, makes plays off his defense in the open floor, and is a good shooter. He had 24 points. DaSean Patton continues to raise his stock each and every time out. Lived at the foul line in this game as the projectable two guard had 11 points.

Glenbard West guard Logan Glover is a prospect to track for Big 3 as the athletic scorer notched 16 points in the loss.

Quick Hitters

Corey Graham 2026 Duo of Jaydian Johnson and Jack Kempf put their name on our radars. Johnson is a strong bodied wing that has a nice mid-range game and uses his physicality to score in the paint. Kempf is a 6'9” five that protected the rim and was quick to the offensive glass as a rebounder.

AUSA Ed Continues to Impress. This 17U team is led by point guard Benjamin Tweedy who was dishing the rock out with an insane dump off pass along with several other sweet dimes. Bailey Thorn is a plus shooter from three that also has crafty handles and burst in the open floor. The athleticism of 2024 shooting guard Eden Hobbs pops on both ends with his burst in the open floor and crisp handles along with being an impactful defender. Class of 2025 big man Nate Hargrave is a legit 6'11” true five that has great hands on the interior.

Vikings United 2026 power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2105369' first='Jacob' last='Thompson'] continues to make noise. We saw him from a court over doing more of what we noticed the first day. Blocking and altering everything in the paint and fluid moves around the hoop. Monster weekend from Thompson!
