Was getting to his spots again on day two and finding plenty of space for in-rhythm pull-up jumpers. A very smooth player when he’s in a flow, showed off some nifty moves at the hoop too, converting a couple of real tough reverses around defenders. Has a good handle and change of speeds, but also utilizes hard jabs and good setup moves before he even puts the ball on the floor.

Stevens had a strong game in a loss to Lynden. He finished with 15 points and showed a pretty good ability to create space off the dribble from the start of the game. Did well to keep defenders on their heels, bringing the ball down, and then did really well to get them turning before finding his spot at the elbow to pull up. Used fakes and pivots well, and played pretty on balance while attacking around the paint.

Stevens is another point man who can attack however the situation suggests. He’s excellent at reading ball screen defenders, finding his man in late passing windows, and scores under control in those intermediate areas. He’s also an excellent 3-point shooter who should see his scoring output go up again this winter.

The Eisenhower shooter came on strong last season with the Ike’s to average double figures and provide steady scoring as well as an extra ballhandler. He could really be a kid who takes off next season because he plays with true confidence and fight in every aspect of the game. He has a sound game and can create space at every level without wasted moves.

Really good potential as a scorer. Already has a sweet stroke from 3 and can hit from a few steps back. Also shows good footwork, timing on pick-ups, and nice ball security on drives while finishing with either hand. Has a great feel for the game already and could be one of the bigger breakout players next season.
