A powerful driver who really commits when he sees a lane open up, and constantly had defenders bouncing off him on his way to the hoop. Did a good job attacking closeouts and finishing with focus through contact.
Gonzalez is a strong player who really kept Eisenhower in the game for the first half. He was able to get to his strong hand and be a physical driver and finisher for a lot of the game, finishing with 23 points. He had multiple finishes through fouls, worked hard to reel in some offensive boards, and showed some good footwork on the break to weave through a few defenders and finish at the rim. He’s been putting together some big games this season and is a riser in the 2028 class.
