Houston Hoops:
Begg is becoming more mature in handling the point guard position. Heard him talk on almost every possession. His focus is finding the right shot on offense and executing on mismatches. Pushes the pace any opportunity he can get. Begg spoke positivity into his teammates.
The lefty shooter displayed his ability to stretch the floor. He knows the exact spot to be in to receive the pass. Understands how to shoot in rhythm. None for shooting, but can create plays for others. He knows the right pass to make when getting his paint touches.
The big man displayed his footwork ability on the post. Also showcased his around-the-basket awareness. Caused mismatch problems, and when the defense adjusted so did he. Chukwudebelu found the open man quickly when the double team came.
Cougars Select:
Collins have grown handling the point guard position. Fiesty guard that plays with aggression. Quick with the ball in his hands, and learn to take what the defense gives him. Great reaction to how his defender is guarding him. Knocking down shots, getting to the basket, and finding the open man.
Murphy played with full confidence. Crafty with his ball handling in open spaces. Make great decisions with the ball in his hands. Shifty player that keeps his defender off balance. His shooting and playmaking ability is what makes him special.

East bring the power to the forward position. Impressive footwork down-low. Use his body to feel his defender spin-off. Stays active in the post by fighting for the rebound. Gives multiple efforts when fighting for the loose ball.
