Through the first three games I have scouted, there has been one blowout and two close games. These are the top players that I have seen to this point.
Zaterrion Sutton Zaterrion Sutton 5’11” | SG Ruston | 2026 State LA showcased some talent on both ends of the court against Oklahoma Wolfpack 2026 Wilson. He utilized his athleticism to come up with a big block. He played solid perimeter defense and came away with a steal, as well. On offense, he showed the ability to finish inside. His explosiveness and quick first step helped him blow by the defender and finish in the paint. Multiple times this quick first step helped him force the defense to collapse before kicking to an open shooter in the corner for an assist. He is on the watch list for Louisiana and is ranked #14 at his position in his class. It was a solid game by him.
Zion Hicks Zion Hicks 6’1″ | SF Lincoln Prepatory | 2026 LA made a massive impact on the defensive end. Just like his three blocks, it was emphatic. Not only did he make a big impact on defense, he finished inside through contact, knocked down a couple of free throws, and hit a mid-range jumper. It was one of the best defensive performances I have seen today.
Israel Fugett Israel Fugett 6'6" | PF OKC Storm | 2026 State OK
Israel Fugett Israel Fugett 6'6" | PF OKC Storm | 2026 State OK
Israel Fugett Israel Fugett 6’6″ | PF OKC Storm | 2026 State OK dominated the game, putting on one of the best rebounding performances that I have seen in person. Utilizing great size, length, and athleticism, he pulled down one rebound after another. If I counted correctly, he came away with 16 rebounds. It is possible that the number is higher, too. He showed the ability to score inside, but made his impact on the boards and with his defense. On the defensive end, he had a steal and a couple of blocks. It was a great performance by him.
Press Lippoldt
Press Lippoldt
Press Lippoldt looked great in this game, impacting the game on both ends of the court. On the offensive end, he knocked down multiple three pointers and his free throws. Whenever the defense would close out to hard on him, he would drive the gap to finish at the rim. He grabbed multiple rebounds, both offense and defense, which led to assist and putbacks. On defense, he played great on-ball defense and came away with a block. It was a great all-around game for him.
