Electric performances from Big Shots Boo Williams Legacy Classic

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Big Shots Boo Williams Legacy classic headlined the second event of this AAU season at Boo Williams Sports Complex. This event hosted over 100 teams and 117 games. Exciting performances and hard-fought games filled the event from start to finish. I was able to get my eyes on a handful of talented athletes. Brown did a good job of setting a firm screen, not moving out of position until he gets the contact, and straight-line rolling into open space. When the ball was in his hands, he put pressure on the rim for the defense. Brown was able to attack the slower defenders off the dribble to get to and finish at the rim. On multiple occasions he was able to force his way into the paint for a finish in traffic at the rim. When Walters wasn't scoring the ball he was getting his teammates involved. Lockard is a player who can beat defenders in a variety of ways. His advanced footwork allows him to create wide open lanes for himself with a lightning quick first step as well as the ability to create for himself on the perimeter. Lockard is an inside-out scorer. Typically, being a bit taller than opposing point guards, Walker has the ability to see over and around the defense to deliver swift passes. This past weekend at Boo Williams Sports Complex, Walker did a great job of controlling the defense when the ball was in his hands. He was very decisive in the pick and roll, which kept the defense on the heals. When attacking the paint, Walker commanded a ton of gravity. The speedy-quick guard combines his tight handle, twitchy movements, and explosive burst off the dribble to blow by slower defenders and get consistent paint touches. Edwards was also a good ball-mover for BWSL this past weekend.
