Marceles Duncan
When looking at Marceles Duncan you instantly are intrigued by his size and length, then you find out he is a 2028 kid and you’re at a loss for words. He is a 6’0 wing that has the strength to bang in post with the older guys, but also has the speed to create for himself on the perimeter. This past weekend was Marceles’s coming out party, putting his name out there for everybody to remember. Playing up 16U only helps him by being able to see what works offensively and defensively against more mature players.
If there is one thing Rashawn can do it’s put the ball in the basket at a very high level but what was different about last weekend was how efficiently he was doing it. Usually, he doesn’t have teammates that are a threat on offense, so he gets all the attention from the opposing team defensively. This wasn’t the case on Saturday. Once he saw the spacing on the court he went to work scoring from all 3 levels with ease.
Summertime Carson is a different type of player. It seems as if he has a huge weight that is lifted off his shoulders and he is not put in a box and that is when he is able to play his game — his way. Defensively, he made a name for himself but beating guards to their spots and using his hands to get deflections, which is a very underrated part of his game. As for the offense, once Carson gets a couple of easy buckets it becomes impossible to stop him. He gets into the lane at will using a combination of strong finishes to get by the help side defense and scoring at will.
Royce Edwards Royce Edwards 6’0″ | CG Rangeview | 2025 State CO is a guard that should be getting way more attention than he currently is at the moment. He does so many things well that ultimately impact winning. He was one the best pure point guards on the weekend which set his team up offensively time and time again. Royce has an offensive game of his own, whether it’s getting in the lane for mid-range jumpers or knocking down the spot up 3 on the wing.
Mac Terry Mac Terry 6’4″ | CG Rock Canyon | 2024 State CO was a game-changer all weekend lon but he did the bulk of his work on Saturday while at Gold Crown. Going 3-0 on the day he made sure his presence was felt from his first game at 11:15 am to his last game at 9 pm. His energy never changed regardless of the flow of the game. Mac was a spark on offense for the Magic providing them with points in bunches while allowing them to build leads early in games. A huge portion of his points came will him getting downhill and getting to the rim
