East NC Fab 40 Camp: Team Blue Chips

Fayetteville Academy PG John Michael Wright: John came in to the event with some buzz to his name locally as he was named the Conference Player of the Year, but this event gave him the opportunity to show his talent against the best in the state. He would go on to win the Camp MVP award by facilitating to teammates but also showing his ability to play above the rim. Fayetteville Academy Guard Demetrius Jones: Demetrius may have raised his stock more than any other player that was at camp, he scored the ball very well throughout. On defense he played solid fundamentally sound defense, he would eventually sign with Pfeiffer University. Fayetteville Academy Emmanuel Izunabor: One of the up and coming prospects for 2019 , Izunabor showed the potential that will have D1 colleges blowing up his phone before much longer. He blocks shots, rebounds, and throws down dunk inside whenever he gets the chance. Fayetteville Academy William Obeyni: William was one of the stronger players at the event, he can bang inside with bigs as well as defend players on the wing. At 6’5 he is still trying to find a position that fits him the best but you can fully expect him to have calls from D1 schools coming in as well. Apex HS Eric Fox: At 6’7 with the ability to shoot the ball, Eric is a nice stretch forward type of player, he can put the ball on the floor, rebound well and defend multiple positions. He would go on to sign with Cape Fear Community College. Grays Creek Trevor Thomas: Trevor was a late addition to the event but he fit right in, he scored the ball well and facilitated to his teammates. Word of God Trevon Spencer: Trevon is another player that truly helped his stock, he has a very long wingspan and can gets where he wants with ease. He’s got athleticism that truly will impress you and is still very raw, his potential to be a special prospect is clearly evident.
