Rollins is a lengthy and skilled lead guard with good positional size to run the offense, as well as the ability to create his own offense when the defense gives him opportunities to score. I have seen Rollins numerous times but always with his Team Lillard 3SSB squad, so it was a great opportunity to see him with his high school team as the focal point of the offense. Rollins keeps the ball on a string to survey the floor, has good height to be able to see over the defense with the court vision to make the right reads from the top of the key, as well as finding open teammates off the drive and kick out pass when he attacks the paint from the wing, and makes quality finds up the court to players ahead of the defense for easy transition buckets. Rollins uses the wide crossover, the hesitation, the between cross, and the hard-pound dribble to get his defender off balance, is effective with the jumper from the mid-range to the 3-point line, and uses his long strides once he gets by his initial defender to get to the basket, where he has touch and creativity on finishes around the basket, using the spin-move, floater, and reverse lay-ups to evade rim protectors in the post. He is a great positional rebounder, which allows him to get out and push the pace of play, and his control of the pace of play and quality decision making is what stood out to me the most.

of Elk Grove made his presence felt all weekend long. The 6’4” guard impressed with his deep shooting and showing his athleticism at the rim. One of his best performances with weekend cam against St.Patrick-Sr. Vincent (Vellejo, CA) Rollins knocked down five threes in that game alone and added a couple of highlight finishes at the rim. Most of his damage from deep came off the catch; he can put it on the hardwood as well and score off the bounce when he wants.
Rollins plays bigger than his listed height; he has a strong, athletic frame with long arms. He uses his size to create space and absorb contact. His size, strength, and shot-making ability are all traits that college scouts are drawn to.

We hadn’t seen Rollins operate at the point guard position at this level. He did well handling ball pressure, showing patience up top, keeping his dribble live, and using his dribble to maneuver his way into the paint for hard to block jumpers. He’s a good finisher with springs in his leg around the rim. He’ll throw one down. He has good foot speed and showed a willingness to defend hard out on the perimeter.

The highest ranked newcomer that can go higher as he progresses through high school. He’s 6’3 long, fast, and still growing. He’s a scoring guard that can fill the net in different ways. Using a combination of ball handling skills and speed makes him hard to guard in transition and in space. He can get to the basket and finish. He has a smooth jumper he can hit from mid-range. He’s long with good intensity on the defensive side of the ball.
