Metcalf could send a message about his game at the Prep Hoops Michigan Top 250. He’s a slippery playmaker that is great off the bounce. Meltcalf keeps a low base, protects the ball and attacks the bucket. From there, he can finish at the rim as well as dump if off to open teammates.

Metcalf went hard at the Rumble In The Rapids. His hustle and fast pace helped him beat the defense back on many occasions throughout the weekend.

Metcalf was a very influential player at Rumble In The Rapids. He was the lead ball handler and distributor, but also carried with him an impressive jumper. After he dished the ball, he repositioned himself for the get back and was able to bury a 3 off of it.

Metcalf put his game on display at the Rumble In The Rapids. He was a playmaking point guard off the bounce showing the ability to get his defender on his hip, penetrate the lane and find a dish off option from there. Metcalf also showed that he could finish at the rim with creativity as well. I was impressed to see that when he did dish the ball off, he didn’t watch the rest of the play, but instead repositioned himself in open space and made himself available to get the ball back in a scoring position.

Metcalf is an exciting freshman guard. He’s quick with his feet and is a solid decision maker with the ball. Metcalf has some really nice skills and upside to his game and will be a very interesting watch at Rumble In The Rapids.
