Ebeling is a player that showed flashes last year of just how good he can become heading into this season. He can spread the floor out with his three-point shooting ability. He has a high and quick release point which makes it difficult for defenders to get a contest on. Ebeling has a soft touch around the rim and can use his 6’3″ size to back down smaller defenders in the posted area. He can work the midrange game as well as anyone and does a nice job of crashing the glass.

Ebeling is the type of sharpshooter who succeeds in running off of off-ball screens for catch-and-shoot opportunities. He will tire his defender throughout a game giving him easy open shots on the wings. His shot is smooth and quick that needs just a small bit of space to get off. Ebeling also must be guarded 3-4 steps beyond the three-point line because of his elite range. Contests do little to nothing once he gets ready to shoot.

Ebeling can do a lot of great things on the court and when it comes to creating his shot he can get anything he wants. He plays with a lot of energy and physical toughness. Ebeling has a sweet shot that will look to expand his range throughout a game. The stepback shot is his go-to move and can break defenders down off the dribble to get that extra space. Ebeling will look to put a body on you when he’s looking drive in the paint and has a nice touch around the rim.

Ebeling can shoot the lights out from three-point range with his high and quick release point. He likes the corner three-point shot, especially off the catch-and-shoot. Ebeling is in range the second he steps past the half-court line. He is excellent at closing out and contesting shooters and has a nose for the ball when going for the trap/double team. Ebeling will dive after every loose ball in his direction.

Ebeling is an offensive threat on every part of the court. He has a sweet stroke from the three-point line with an extended range. He is sneaky athletic as he can get up for the two-handed throw-down if you give him the open lane. Ebeling rebounds well at the shooting guard position and turns turnovers into easy transition points with his ability to finish strong at the rim in those situations.
