Steve Parham | Prep Hoops Scout
Zion had the big night for West in their win over Warren. He was very active on the offensive end scoring many ways while on and off the ball. Gross is such a skilled wing that he does everything so smoothly. He had several drives to the rim for buckets. Defenders underestimate how well he handles the ball and can move in and out of traffic when attacking. Zion made shots on the perimeter as well showcasing himself as a well-rounded threat. He led his team with 26 points.

Gross is a long and rangy wing that can play the two through four. His athleticism and ability to play in transition are what really stand out for Gross. Should be one of the go to scorers this year for Joliet West.

6’6” Joliet West SG played well vs Lake Forest. Pushes the pace in transition while flashing an ability to score from all three levels. Created tons of scoring chances on the fast break. Layup package is impressive and that showed towards the end of this contest. High motor prospect who’s super athletic. Really like his ceiling.
