Things like communicating, bringing energy on defense, and fighting for every rebound. In addition to those things, Osman is a 6'7 wing that can shoot it and create his own shot off the dribble. Needless to say, Greenforest is a different team when Kawela is on the floor. He gives them more perimeter shooting and displayed a pretty touch on his jumper throughout the game, knocking down shots off the dribble from mid-range and beyond. He's also strong around the rim and can cause a lot of mismatches with smaller wings. Rouse is an excellent football player and you can see a lot of those abilities translate to the hardwood. He's a solid-bodied forward that uses his frame to create position and finish through contact. Rouse is one of those guys that always seems to be in the right place at the right time and is constantly impacting possessions. Through the first part of the season, Westlake has impressive wins over Chapel Hill, Creekside, and Riverwood. Saturday was Braxton Cooley's opportunity and he got it done both inside and out. He played a number of roles in some unconventional lineups for Dutchtown, including a small-ball 5 at certain times. Cooley is a great shooter from behind-the arc and has the foundation for a solid offensive game as he learns to score in different ways.
