Grassroots Preview: KC Run GMC
KC Run GMC will be competing in the Under Armour Association once again. They have one of the top programs in the Midwest. Here is a look at their teams:
17U
Damien Daniels 5’8″ Hogan Prep
Jordan Canfield 5’11” Hayden Catholic (KS)
Saadique Perkins 6’3″ Park Hill South
Noah Thomas 6’4″ Cy-Fair High
Mario Goodrich 6’2″ Lee’s Summit West
Keenan Fitzmorris 7’0″ St. James Academy (KS)
Tyreese Davis 6’6″ Life Prep (KS)
Joseph Pleasant 6’6″ Blue Valley Northwest (KS)
Angelo Allegri 6’6″ St. Thomas Aquinas (KS)
Outlook: Run GMC started the grassroots season with a 1-3 record during the first session of the UAA in New York last weekend. Thomas is a talented guard who averaged 17 points a game. Pleasant, Davis and Allegri are versatile forwards who can get the job done in multiple ways while the diminutive Daniels is a newcomer who will add some get-up-and-go to the backcourt, which goes well with Goodrich.
16U
Jordan White 6’1″ Washburn Rural (KS)
Desi Williams 5’10” Park Hill South
Zach Harvey 6’5″ Topeka Hayden (KS)
Noah Butler 6’4″ Free State (KS)
Lamel Robinson 5’10” Park Hill South

Joshua Early 6’7″ Bishop Miege (KS)
Fred Quarterlebaum III 6’0″ Lawrence (KS)
Jeremiah Robinson-Earl 6’9″ Bishop Miege (KS)
Clarence King 6’3″ Lawrence (KS)
Outlook: The 16U team was one of the best in the country last year at the 15U level. They went undefeated in UAA League play and won several tournaments along the way. Harvey and Robinson are high level recruits with offers from several major college programs already. Robinson is one of the top young point guards in the state of Missouri while Early is another prime-time talent in the front court. They have started the grassroots season with a 4-0 record in the first session of the UAA in New York last weekend.
