About Antonio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Versatile player that can play and defend multiple positions. Because of my size and ability to play inside and outside I can create mismatches for the opposing team. I pride myself on playing hard and efficiently on both ends of the floor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a laid back personality. There are times when I need to be more aggressive and vocal. I try leading by example, but my coaches are expecting me to be a vocal leader this year as well.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Student Council, AXIOS! Student Ministry

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing during the summer against some great competition has helped me gain more confidence. I’m learning to communicate and encourage my teammates better by helping them get where they need to be.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

No

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will challenge me athletically and academically. A school that will give me academic support and help me develop fully as a man.

Antonio Dixon Antonio Dixon Antonio Dixon 6'6" | SF Huntington | 2026 State LA is one of the most interesting players in the state due to his length and athleticism. His next level potential could go in a couple different directions. With added muscle, he becomes an intimidating post player. If he maintains his long lean muscle, he is a terror at the two or three positions. He is a next level dream because of his diverse skill set and height positioning him as a tweener. Dixon is destined for next level success and continued growth.

In the first round of the playoffs, Dixon finished with an impressive 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists, which is just a sign of things to come. Dixon is long, active, skilled, and poised in the game. He literally does it all: he rebounds, facilitates, shoots, and finishes above the rim. He will need a stellar performance in the next round for sure. He is a next-level athlete whose skills will translate easily, making him a great addition to any college program. Look for him to have some high-production games on the quest to the Top 28.

Dixon is one of the most interesting players in our rankings due to his visible upside. Dixon can do it all, and with his length can play multiple positions. His 22 point game performance vs Zachary was just a glimpse of what is possible when he is aggressive. Huntington is an immensely talented team and Dixon could be the key to their Championship hopes. He is a 6’6 wing with three level scoring ability making him a match up nightmare.

Antonio Dixon Antonio Dixon Antonio Dixon 6'6" | SF Huntington | 2026 State LA Shines in Tough Win Over Carroll High School

Antonio Dixon Antonio Dixon Antonio Dixon 6'6" | SF Huntington | 2026 State LA was the difference-maker in one of the toughest matchups of the day, demonstrating his ability to impact the game on both ends of the court. Dixson is a player I’ve had the chance to watch multiple times, especially during the Bossier Invitational, and there’s one thing that consistently stands out: his motor and skill. A true system player, Dixson earns his points the hard way. As a rim-running forward, he combines raw athleticism with undeniable talent, constantly making his presence felt on both ends of the floor.

On a talented roster, Dixson has found his role as the energy guy, playing with high intensity and a relentless work ethic. His performances in the Bossier Invitational highlighted his scoring ability, with 23 and 16-point outings that showcased his versatility. He’s equally comfortable pulling up for a mid-range jumper as he is driving downhill and finishing strong at the rim with a dunk.

What sets Dixson apart is his selflessness. He’s not just a scorer—he’s a player who moves the ball and plays with an unselfish mindset. Standing at 6’5″, he has the bounce to electrify the crowd with highlight-reel dunks, but he also has the ball-handling skills to create his own shot off the dribble. His game is constantly evolving, and it’s clear he’s a player to keep an eye on. Dixson is on the bubble, but he’s undoubtedly one of the top prospects in the state. If you haven’t seen him in person yet, you’re missing out.

Dixon tried to help Huntington on both ends of the floor during the Doc Edwards final. His perimeter shooting from three helped stretch the floor. His shooting also helped remove Hudson from the paint and caused two fouls on the big man. Dixon did foul out as he tried to defend the rim against Hudson and the drives by the Bearcat guards. Dixon’s athleticism is an asset and while it did not help Huntington win the tournament title on Saturday. He will be a key in their hopes for the rest of the season.

The Raider wing/forward has a very high ceiling. Dixon can face up against slower, larger forwards while posting smaller defenders. He is very athletic and can finish above defenders on a moment’s notice. Dixon is very good in transition and finishes at the rim more times than not. He has a jumper that is improving which will really spell trouble for defenses trying to corral him.

Dixon is a standout on the court with his aggressive basketball instincts. He’s always in attack mode, whether he’s pushing the ball in transition or operating in the half-court. At 6’4”, he’s the ideal size for a wing, built strong enough to bang in the paint but skilled enough to stretch the floor with his three-point shot. He’s a finisher at the rim, showing off his athleticism with dunk finishes to validate his hard work.

On defense, he’s a willing and active communicator, keeping his team locked in and ready. His ability to guard multiple positions is a problem for opponents, and his offensive mindset is clear—when he’s determined to score, he’s hard to stop. Dixon’s handles are smooth, and he knows how to change speeds, keeping defenders on their heels. He plays with poise, reading the defense and picking his spots efficiently.

What makes him even more exciting is his ability to glide laterally across the court, moving with ease and getting to his spots effortlessly. He can shoot the mid-range and pulls up quick which is a problem for defenders of any size. He’s got a modern game, blending a high-flying dunking ability with a solid outside shot, making him a dangerous two-way player in today’s game where the three-ball is king. Coaches will definitely want to keep their eyes on him in the future, as he’s sure to cause matchup nightmares.
