You already know that this kid is a walking bucket and during warmups he is doing things that a kid that young and that big should not be able to do. The way this kid moves is absolutely incredible. He was switching and defending at a high level against 1-5 and the way he can run up and down the floor is something to see because he was hitting from the perimeter and he keeps it simple off the bounce. Copper showed that he does not need a lot of dribbles to get looks. His relentless attack on the glass and especially the o-boards was elite. He lived up to the hype. This kid is for real.
This kid is good and he is explosive. He will pick up some offers that will fit his style of play and that is that uptempo style. Really like him in situations where he can make multiple reads. He has the hesi slow dribble that allows him to set up that attack move and defenders respect that quickness and he then chooses to drive or let that nice shot go.
Rayvon was an absolute freak athlete and high motor player for his club team on both ends this past grassroots season. Rayvon is so active on the glass and he was just that spark plug that never stops and he is one of the players that ignites this AZ Compass team. The Cincinnati signee is one of those wing players that can attack or play in the perimeter.
David really turned things up late in the second have as the subs stopped and RSL Academy stayed with their main guys David was able to really showcase his game. Started off with some defensive stops and led to an open three at the top of the arc. Then he got a steal and he punched it on a defender trying to chance him down as they just ran away with the game. We got to see David’s improvement out in the perimeter shooting. Great first two games for David.
Kallen is a sleeper stock riser and the scouts are paying attention. When a few of the players on the CCHS team have struggled to get loose against athletic guards Kallen has been the player that has really showcased his shooting. If he can work on that attacking game or his movement towards the basket he can show a different aspect of his game. Kid is lights out when he is out there on a drive and kick.
