O’Marion is a special prospect that every coach in America should have tabs on. I was very impressed with how he was able to use his handle to get anywhere he wants on the floor, and is a high level scorer from all three levels of the court. He is very confident with his handle in the open court, knowing he finishes at such a high level over seemingly anyone. He is an absolutely special athlete through his frame, mobility and overall athleticism. His athleticism allows him to be a real weapon across every inch of the court, moving his feet to play the passing lanes and run coast to coast. What makes him an elite prospect is his maturity on the court, and his understanding of spacing and especially his willingness to do the dirty work necessary to help his team find success. He has a great motor and is willing and able to defend any position on the court. He moves his feet at a very high level, allowing him to defend on the ball and use his length to harass ball handlers. He tipped multiple passes and was able to run the other way and finish in the paint.
Hudson Greer Hudson Greer 6'7" | SG Austin Lake Travis | 2025 State #50 Nation 2025 6’6 Lake Travis High School
Hudson is a high level wing prospect with the ability to calmly and smoothly score off the bounce from all three levels of the floor. He is off to a fast start in pre-season, putting up an abundance of points and showing why he is well deserving of the multiple division one offers he has. He is a high level scorer off the catch, showing a consistent ability to space the floor and knock down shots when given time to square up and set his feet. His ability to patiently play off the ball, allows his teammates to find him with smart passes and then quickly rise up. I know I will be keeping tabs on his development this season! Greer is one of the top prospects in the state for good reason, his tremendous blend of size, athleticism and skill are going to be an absolute weapon at the next level.
Matthew Bingham 2025 6’5 Summer Creek High School
Matthew is a gritty wing who is strong and physical enough to play as a small ball forward. He is a hard working player who thrives at outworking other prospects and affect the game from two feet in the paint. He is great at using two dribbles to get to his spot in the mid-range or out the post using drop steps and quick jabs. He goes up strong and showed an ability to fight through contact as he explodes his way to the rim. He showed an ability to dunk on bigger opponents who are underneath the rim. His elite rim protection at his height is incredibly impressive, and is a real testament to his motor and willingness to fight on the interior. He is a high level rebounder who works hard to high point the ball and snatch boards from other opponents. His ability to play small ball allows his teammates to affect the game on the perimeter and allow him to clean up all the dirty work down low.
Lloyd Jones III 2025 6’4 Hitchcock High School
Lloyd is a two way wing player with plenty of room to grow. He is a very consistent player down low, on both ends of the court! He offered a consistent help defender in the paint who rejected shots and forced his opponents to think twice or pass out off shots at the rim. He showed off his quick feet and defended guards on the perimeter. He does not bite on pump fakes, and can reject jumpers on the perimeter as well. His length really made his opponents uncomfortable. He was great at using his length to coral rebounds and get the ball at a high point. His ability to finish in the lane forced teams to bring a second defender. He always seemed to be in the right spot at the right time to finish easy shots or clean up looks at the rim. He absorbs contact at the rim and showed an ability to finish through it. I was impressed with his hands, he showed an ability to seemingly catch any pass. He got easy looks in transition by simply staying in his lane and waiting for the defense to make a mistake.
Shawn Smith 2025 6’3 Denison High School
Shawn is a dynamic athlete who can do it all on the basketball court, especially defensively. He is an impressive athlete who uses his length and quickness to block shots and finish around the rim. He is quick with a live dribble and uses his foot speed and athleticism to blow by his defender and get into the paint. He routinely got his defender off balance with his handle and got into the paint and found his big men with smart dump off passes. He has all of the athletic tools to become a valuable and dynamic prospect. His ability to consistently grab rebounds off the glass by sealing his opponent on the glass and skying for rebounds.
