Standing roughly 6'2, the wiry guard possesses a shifty ballhandling skillset, proving capable changing speeds on a dime. He is adept creating space through wide crossovers and behind the back dribble moves. There are few guards capable getting downhill through a few simple crossovers, a testament to Moorer's live dribble timing. This past season at Mesa Ridge, Moorer averaged 13.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2 steals per game on 51% on two point attempts. On the opposite side, the guard is excellent digging into drivers, either on the point of attack or from helpside. Moorer contributed 74% of his 101 free throw attempts, a noteworthy mark given that his three point consistency will be an area worth monitoring.

[player_tooltip player_id='1420179' first='Robert' last='McClinton'] - The Pinnacle

McClinton brings a well rounded offensive game on all three levels. The Pinnacle point guard has shown upside as a pull-up shooter, either utilizing the screen to create a look or simply rise up above mid-range defenders. At 5'10, McClinton had a major role this past season, averaging 17.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and an absurd 4.7 steals per game. The lead guard excels as a point of attack defender, keeping his hands up and ready to poke away the ball. Keeping tabs on his screen navigation will be crucial to a wholistic defensive approach for the guard. McClinton currently sits 77th overall and 11th among point guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284480' first='Ryder' last='McConnell'] - Sterling

McConnell is an under the radar combo guard out of the Northeast of the state. Standing at 6'3, the senior guard leads Sterling in assists while likely bearing a heavier offensive usage following Jackson Keil's departure to Western Wyoming. McConnell's exceptionally high release point immediately stands out, in part aiding him taking contested threes. The senior showed great relocation through screens, even coming off a few elevators to find his shot. While McConnell is an excellent off the catch shooter, he has led the team as a passer. His four assists per game was largely utilized finding cutters from the wings, although he has flashed live dribble passing vision. He possesses such a uniquely calm and methodical playstyle, aided by physical skillset. What This past season, McConnell averaged 13.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4 assists per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1420178' first='Peyton' last='Torres'] - Eagle Ridge Academy

The point guard has quickly garnered plenty of interest throughout the summer thanks to his tangible improvements as a downhill playmaker. Standing roughly 6'2, Torres has proved to be a dynamic perimeter playmaker. His first step is noticeably quicker than most guards, allowing him to breeze by point of attack defenders. Around the rim, Torres elevates above opponents while throwing it down when given space. Torres has shown promise as a shooter either on or off the dribble, proving to get the rock off quickly. One area of intrigue resides in how Peyton will manage his assist to turnover ratio, although he will be returning to a team with high chemistry at Eagle Ridge. Torres as notably received offers from Arizona Christian, Doane, and Wartburg.
