The 6-foot-3 combo guard is a proven highly skilled playmaker and talented bucket getter with an impeccable feel for the game. As a ball-handler Price is extremely smooth and confident and he doesn’t waste a single dribble. His full court speed with the rock seems unstoppable at times, Price is the type of player that can get to the basket at will due to his insane talent for changing pace and changing directions combined with an explosive ability to kick it into high gear. Elite footwork, body control, and use of his length on the drive including a tremendous layup package, any time this kid is in the lane there’s a high chance he’s going to score. Nasir has a handful of ways that he can finish through traffic and around rim protectors in a crafty manner with inside hand reverse layups, up-and-unders, and one-foot runners where he shows a great touch, Price even has the wherewithal to utilize his body angles to shield the ball from getting swiped. In the mid-range, Price does an amazing job of stopping and starting on a dime and also elevating into his jumpshot when the defense least expects it. His knack for freezing his defenders with hesitation combos often leads Nasir into a clean look and a good shot. Remarkable court vision, Price puts a mean zip on his passes with precision and knows how to hit his cutters and bigs the moment they are open and even with lead passes on the fast break. Currently, Price holds offers from TCU and the University of Tulsa with many more on the way. Adam Vessel Adam Vessel 5’9″ | PG Second Baptist School | 2026 TX is a true floor general who can impact the entire game from top to bottom, control the tempo on both ends of the floor, create plays offensively, and force turnovers defensively. Vessel has proven to be an excellent transition player thanks to his controlled handle, passing accuracy, and ability to always look ahead. Very unselfish, Vessel looks to set up his teammates with a shot before looking to get his own. His facilitating skills is one of his best attributes, this point guard shows a knack for touching the paint and drawing the defenses attention before quickly kicking the ball out to a teammate for the three-pointer. The freshman lead guard displays a good sense for always being able to find and hit the open man often with pretty and precise right hand push passes. On the defensive end, his hands are effective weapons for him, Vessel keeps them active at all times. While defending on the ball, Adam Vessel Adam Vessel 5’9″ | PG Second Baptist School | 2026 TX speeds up opposing ball-handlers by pressuring them, crowding their space, and taking away driving angles. While playing off of the ball, Adam gets a lot of steals by being quick to help and jump throws in the passing lanes, his anticipation for the play and eye for the ball are uncanny.
Shifty guard with a truly dynamic and effortless bucket getting ability. All-around scoring and shot creating prowess, Cantave’s instinctively crafty ways of creating offense for himself are well equipped to translate right a way at the varsity level. 6-foot, Jachai Cantave can lead a team in scoring game after game, this lefty is a pure knock down jumpshooter off the bounce, his stop-and-pop jumpers often leave players falling off balance and unable to contest effectively. This young man’s pull-up shot is often the most potent aspect of his game, Cantave nails contested jumpers at a high rate against defenders of all positions. Jachai is extremely dangerous out of the triple threat, he sizes his man up with great footwork using a variety of jab steps and pivots. In isolation, Cantave freezes defenders with hesitations and hang dribbles before drilling a shot in his man’s face or attacking them at an angle where he’s quick enough to finish in the middle of the lane with soft touch floaters. Once he’s inside, Cantave shows an excellent understanding of how to play off of two feet, he perfectly utilizes jump stops and hop steps to get to his sweet spots under the hoop. Although, LSU and the University of Houston have shown a large amount of interest in recruiting Jachai Cantave and his scoring talents, I believe he’s more than just a scorer, what he brings to the table is always conducive to winning games, Cantave can really do a bit of everything and effect the outcome in many ways.
Christian Gibson Christian Gibson 6’5″ | SG Katy Mayde Creek | 2026 State TX is someone you can plug in as a guard or wing forward for just about any team. His offensive game is versatile, Gibson can take smaller guards into the post and finish with his back to basket where he’s good at creating space for the shot, he can also get a rebound and take it coast to coast for two points with good open court speed. The freshman prospect can play as a big point-guard who’s the primary ball-handler or lead the way as a scoring guard with the size and strength to be a threat at all three levels of the floor. Solid jumpshooter from outside with his feet set, the lefty shows the potential to evolve as a three-point shooter from his range to his efficiency. He’s been showing a well developed basketball IQ whether he’s playing on or off of the ball, Gibson has great instincts for when to cut to the hoop where he gets to the foul line at a consistent rate due to his knack for drawing contact. Game changing measurables, this kid is steadily growing and already has a basketball body. He displays a long and lengthy 6-foot-3-inch frame with broad shoulders built to carry muscle, Gibson’s wingspan assist him greatly in every aspect of the game, his uses of his long reach is a major advantage for him anytime he penetrates to finish through bumps and multiple defenders.
Cypress Park’s 6-foot-6 freshman, Landon Veal Landon Veal 6’7″ | SF Cypress Springs | 2026 TX is a name to remember. Veal is a reliable transition big man with athleticism is rapidly growing, he’s shown good full court speed and he’s beginning to show explosiveness off of two feet underneath the basket. Veal’s also a consistent rim runner who can sprint up and down the floor impressively well with and without the ball in hand. In a half court set, Landon Veal Landon Veal 6’7″ | SF Cypress Springs | 2026 TX can be a constant baseline scoring problem out of the short corner and dunker’s spot where he has displayed a terrific burst of quickness in his first step off the dribble, has the ability to catch and quickly score and loves to play above the rim, this kid oozes true lob threat potential. Good hands, he shows no trouble catching, holding onto the ball, or securing a rebound in traffic, Veal has a knack for being a glass cleaner at times due to his hops and nearly 7-foot reach which allows him to be apart of every play anytime the ball is coming off of the rim.
