Quite a few players came seeking to compete against the best in the area, and the Southeast Region and the action did not disappoint. Many players left their mark, and none other than the following GameChangers…

[player_tooltip player_id='1300733' first='Ashton' last='Bjerke'] (6'3/F/'25)

School: Marist School

Instagram: Ashton_bjerke

Twitter: @ashton23742189

There was one thing that I kept finding myself writing and thinking to myself when it came to Ashton, and that was he is a rebounding machine. He was very active on the glass in camp, and to be a rising sophomore standing 6'3, his production on the glass was very impressive. He is an energy guy that impacted the game by asserting himself on the glass while many focused on scoring. To find myself looking down to write about his activity on the glass over and over again made me, without a doubt, consider Ashton a #GameChanger.

What Made Him a GameChanger:

I cannot tell you how many times I have sat with coaches after games and whether they were on the winning side or the losing side, they kept bringing up the rebounding margin. Often the rebounding margin can give you a clue as to how the outcome came about. Ashton is a #GameChanger when it comes to rebounding the ball and is definitely a player that impacts the results of games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1464265' first='Joshua' last='Harden'] (6'3/F/'25)

School: Howard

Instagram: N/A

Twitter: N/A

Joshua was a player that had a tremendous wingspan that allowed him to be effective on the glass, productive when finishing in the paint over defenders, and a defender that made it tough for players to get their shot off over him. He brings a lot to the game and impacts it in ways other than scoring, even though he did show that he could score the rock if the possession required him to do so. He competed with tremendous effort and was a player that simply impacted all aspects of the game.

What Made Him a GameChanger:

It is simple when thinking about what made Joshua a #GameChanger. It was his ability to make his presence felt on both ends of the floor in all aspects. Many players played extremely hard on offense and seemed to slow it down on defense, but Joshua put in work on both ends, and it is players like Joshua that ultimately impact the outcomes of games.

Ezekiel Harpe, II (6'6/F/'23)

School: The Westminster School

Instagram: zeke_harpe

Twitter: @zeke_II

Ezekiel is a lengthy player that flashed a lot of athleticism throughout camp. He got up and down the floor with a lot of energy and got some easy buckets simply by outrunning his defender in transition. Zeke had some electric moments as he was finishing above the rim often. He shot the ball exceptionally well from 10-15 feet. The strength of his game and what he really did well that impacted the games he played was how hard he was hitting the glass. He was a glass cleaner and did it better than almost everyone at camp.

What Made Him a GameChanger:

To have a player that can go and get the rebound at its high point made life hard for guys in the paint who did not have the leaping ability like Zeke has. When a player single-handedly limits the opposing team to one shot, he is considered the ultimate #GameChanger, which is precisely what Zeke did throughout camp.

[player_tooltip player_id='1438740' first='Corde' last='Neyland'] (6'3/F/'24)

School: Morrow HS

Instagram: imcorde

Twitter: @corde1111

Corde did not have to be a scoring machine to be noticed or to be considered a #GameChanger. Two specific things set him apart, and those things were his rebounding and his screen setting. He rebounded the ball at a high rate and knows how to position himself when blocking out. Now I must say that when it came to setting solid screens and rolling hard to the rim, Corde was one of the best that did it throughout the camp. He is a relentless competitor that gave his all on both sides of the floor.

What Made Him a GameChanger:

In a time where ball screen action dominates the game, having a player who knows how to use his body in setting screens is definitely a plus for any team. To have a player that can set screens and roll and be an offensive threat after the screen is a #GameChanger, which is what Corde is, as he makes himself an offensive threat every time he is in the ball-screen action because of how hard he rolls to the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1617589' first='Tarrance' last='Richardson'] (6'3/F/'23)

School: John L. There was nothing flashy when it came to his game, but he impacted the stat sheet in all areas. He was active on both ends of the floor and brought a lot of energy to the court. He was a consistent source of scoring for his team and showed his ability to score at all levels. He is the type of player that does whatever it takes to win. The kind of guy that is good for the overall program.

What Made Him a GameChanger:

The way that Tarrannce approached the games and performed is the type of player that coaches hold in high regard as they are often pillars of the team. These types of players impact the game in so many different ways, and that is precisely what Tarrance showed at camp, which earned him a spot in this article.

[player_tooltip player_id='1386104' first='Jackson' last='Mcvey'] (7'0/C/'25)

School: Gilmer HS

Instagram: jacksonmcvey40

Twitter: jacksonmcvey40

When you look at Jackson's height and class, you quickly see why he is listed in this #GameChangers article. A 7-footer that is a rising sophomore immediately turns heads. The question is, what do you see after your attention has been focused in his direction. Well, you can imagine what his strengths are, which are contesting shots and hitting the boards. He is still developing his offensive game and his low post presence. He has a nice form with his perimeter J and showed he can knock down the trey ball. I'm not sure if he shoots it with consistency, so I can't say if he can stretch the floor. He does need to continue to work on getting stronger, as he got pushed around a little in the paint.

What Made Him a GameChanger:

When it comes to Jackson, standing 7-feet tall with the ability to protect the rim and secure the boards makes him a #GameChanger that has a big impact when it comes to activity in the paint.
