Now at Mission Viejo, the 6’3″ scoring guard put on a offensive clinic and exploded for 38 pts against Venice. Hubbard can score at all levels and can catch fire in a hurry. 30 of his 38 came in the 2nd half as he finished the game with six three pointers. Hubbard has a quick release and unlimited range. When not doing damage from outside, Jaden is smooth and slithery and knows how to get to the rim and score. He knows how to use the glass, finishes with either hand, and is patient when getting inside the paint. On defense Hubbard does a great job of reading passes and uses his length to get a hand on the ball. He moves very well laterally and does a great job of challenging shots. Loved seeing him take multiple charges as that’s how leaders lead their team by example.

Dual constantly shows why he is one of the top guards in the Southern California. He plays both ways and gives tremendous effort on both sides of the ball. On offense, Dual did a great job of mixing it up from outside and getting to the rim. He had a huge exclamation point in the first half as he stole the ball and threw down a huge poster dunk on the Rancho Christian front court. His ability to read offenses, stay in front of the ball, and disrupt opposing guards is what sets him apart from other guards. Dual is one of the top perimeter defenders in the entire nation.

He has a high and fast release and does a great job of getting to his spots to get his shot off. His pull up game is smooth and he combines it with his slashing ability. Bailey has excellent body control and knows how to use his frame to shield the ball and finish with either hand. Although he fouled out, Bailey finished the game with 15 points and was the top scorer for Crossroads.
Briyan Aldridge
Briyan Aldridge
While he isn’t the tallest player on the court, he is one of the most exciting to watch. Aldridge is a quick and smart ball handler who has excellent vision. Facing doubles and traps from the opposing Crossroads team, he often found ways to break through and found the open man. It was impressive to watch him use his quickness and smarts to be able to get his jumper off from 3pt range.

The 5’10 senior guard shows a smooth shooting touch. Did a great job of using his screens to pull up for 3s. Hustles back on defense and moves his feet. Although he wasn’t the focal point of the offense and came off the bench, he made the most of his opportunities and finished with a game high 15 pts.
The 2024 guard was a sparkplug for Washington Prep. Dennis is a high motor guard who is everywhere on the floor. He hustles, moves his feet and defends well. He is fearless when driving to the basket and isn’t afraid of bigger defenders. Dennis always has his head up and is looking for his teammates. Watt is a smooth shooter. On a deep Crossroads team, he understands his role and plays it well. Watt does a great job of moving without the ball and once he gets his feet set he is lethal from outside. Finished with 11 points and three 3 balls against a scrappy Washington Prep team.
