1. Shelby- The Whippets were great a year ago(19-4) although a first round exit in the playoffs was not what they expected. Even then, the program proved they will be one of the best in the conference this year and for the foreseeable future behind a great group of juniors. [player_tooltip player_id='1225066' first='Alex' last='Bruskotter'] (Jr) hands down was the best guy a year ago and brings D1 potential to the table. His size at 6'7 makes him a mismatch all day. [player_tooltip player_id='1421138' first='Casey' last='Lantz'] (Jr) and [player_tooltip player_id='1285248' first='Bryson' last='Baker'] (Jr) also return and bring role play for the Whippets. Truly on paper there is not a team as close to Shelby as they should take the conference crown outright.

2. River Valley- Return their top player from a season ago in [player_tooltip player_id='1462514' first='Carson' last='Smith'] (Jr). Lack the depth beyond Smith to challenge Shelby. Still will be a competitive team.

3. Pleasant- Promising season last year and return their top 2 guys. Trey Booker (Jr) was All-District a year ago and return Wiley Smith (Jr) as well.

4. Highland- Lost their top guy from a year ago, but bring in one of the best freshmen in the area in [player_tooltip player_id='1452919' first='Gavin' last='Toombs'] (Fr) and some leadership in Brock Church (Sr).

5-8 Ontario/Marion Harding/Galion/Clear Fork
