An explosive 6’6 wing, Rygh had a monster year that resulted in a school best 4th place finish at the 6A state tournament. Along the way, Rygh garnered all league & all tournament recognition. He will take his game to Klamath Falls where he’ll join the program at NAIA power OIT.

Rygh dominated the tournament, leading all scorers with an impressive 26.3 points per game while showcasing a powerful and versatile skill set. A high-rising, athletic wing, Rygh plays well above the rim and is a constant threat as a lob target and finisher. He excels at attacking the rim with ease, using his strength and toughness to play through contact and finish effectively. Along with his interior scoring, he shows a nice shooting touch and a reliable jumper, making him a multi-level offensive threat. His ability to crash the boards and create extra possessions adds even more value. Rygh is also a smart, team-first player who does a great job finding teammates and making the right plays. A solid free-throw shooter and physical presence, he can even operate as a post option when needed. With his combination of athleticism, toughness, and scoring ability, Rygh was one of the most impactful players in the tournament.

Brody Rygh Brody Rygh 6'5" | SF Sherwood | 2026 State OR is a strong, athletic wing who impacts the game with both toughness and skill. A high riser who can really elevate, Rygh isn’t afraid to attack the rim and finish through contact. He’s a smart player who makes good reads and finds his teammates when defenses collapse. Offensively, he shows a nice shooting touch and is a solid free-throw shooter, while his strength allows him to hold his own as a post option when needed. Known for being tough as nails, Rygh consistently brings effort and physicality on the floor. He finished with a game high 28 points.

Rygh finished with 18 points, showcasing his athleticism and ability to play above the rim. A lob threat who attacks the basket with ease, he also crashed the boards, played through contact, and contributed as a team-first player while knocking down his jumper. He is headed to Oregon Tech next season.

Last year’s Pacific Conference Player of the Year is a rock-solid candidate again in 2025-26. Sharing the role of lead offensive player with teammate Avery Johnson Avery Johnson 6'1" | CG Sherwood | 2027 State OR , the senior guard shined with his abilities to get hot from three or smoothly glide to the hoop and finish with authority above the rim. He surpassed the 1000 career point mark this year while helping the Bowmen run the table to an undefeated record in league play.

Brody Rygh Brody Rygh 6'5" | SF Sherwood | 2026 State OR showed why he’s regarded as one of the top seniors in the state, delivering a game-high 22 points. A high flyer with great length, he plays above the rim and thrives as a lob threat in space. Rygh rebounds his position well and has the ability to create for teammates, adding versatility to his game. Committed to Oregon Tech, he can also knock down mid-range shots and make defenses pay from the perimeter if left open, making him a tough all-around matchup.

Rygh showcased his defensive prowess by effectively guarding larger opponents. His physical defensive style was evident, and offensively, he displayed a notable scoring touch. Rygh’s athleticism allowed him to elevate significantly for shots, and his early hot shooting, coupled with his length, positions him as a promising D1 prospect at the guard position. He is a threat to score both from outside and in transition. Overall, it was an impressive performance.

One of the top high-flyers in the entire senior class, Rygh exudes smoothness with his glides to the hoop and ability to finish above the rim. The 6-foot-5 wing has developed into an elite catch-and-shoot player as well and this summer he expanded on his mid-range game. Rygh has earned an offer from Oregon Tech and significant interest from a number of D-II programs in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. (JT)
