Justin can really dial it up from downtown for the Vikings. He’s always ready to receive the ball with a nice catch-shoot release. Skelton and the Vikings will look to make some noise this season in the Midlands.
White is a left-handed guard who plays the game old schooled it seems. Russ likes to drop bounce pass and just brings an old school flare to the table. White got hurt in late July on the Grassroots Circuit and sat out some the rest of the way. Look for him to be the leader of this Cardinals squad for Head Coach Philip Deter this season.
Nelson is a bit of a hybrid forward who can play both forward spots on the floor. Joshua more of a 4/3 type man really does a good job of cleaning up on the glass. He seems to be most effective playing around the paint and manufacturing points on just effort and determination.
Collins and the Irmo HS Yellow Jackets will have to replace some key members of last year’s squad. Madden can score the ball from all 3 levels on the floor. Look for him to be counted on heaviliy this season for Head Coach Tim Whipple.
Carter can play inside-out on the floor for the Cardinals. Evan a left-handed forward can stick the mid-range jumper or get to the glass and finish a tip in. He does a good job of filling the lane in transition and finishing at the basket. Great activity guy – always working around the paint area.
Pretty had a good summer on the Grassroots Circuit with the Carolina Pressure . Jayden does everything quite effectively around the paint with his soft touch over either shoulder.
He will rebound through traffic and absorb contact along the way. Jayden might be a bit undersized down on the block he plays bigger than his size while delivering results.
Atkinson is a long and slender post player for the Diamond Hornets. Alex is best as a defender and running the floor while filling the lane in transition.
Atkinson will deliver some putbacks around the cup on the offensive end of the floor.
Highlights
Bell makes the offense go for the Redhawks. TJ can really score the ball while on the floor. TJ has shifty ball-skills to get by defenders on the way to the cup.
Look for TJ in the next addition of Stock-Risers and also for the Redhawks to make some noise this season in the Midlands.
Tillman is a new face to the Midlands this season after coming down from the Upstate. Expect Tillman just like TJ Bell TJ Bell 5’11” | PG Westwood | 2024 State SC to make debuts in the new state rankings coming in Mid-October. Jaylen is a physical specimen with a great set of shoulders.
He’s very nimble around the floor with his footwork.
Caleb was a pleasant surprise this summer playing for the Vikings at the SCBCA Team Camp in Rock Hill. Temoney a long and athletic small forward can dial it in from downtown for the Vikings.
Can this Vikings team make a run this season under Head Coach Cypheus Bunton?
