Saiyad was by far among one of the top standout players in the camp. The 5’10” Bay Area guard is a tremendous playmaker who can create for himself and create for others. Saiyad is a true floor general who can initiate the offense and start his team’s plays. He is shifty, has a tight handle, has good creativity on his dribbling combos which allow him to create separation to get his jumper off. When Saiyad was not scoring the ball, he was looking to create for his teammates. He has excellent creativity with the rock and is looking to drop a dime whenever he can. He constantly had the gym oohing and aahing with his no look passes and bullet zips through traffic for assists. Although he is at his best as the lead guard, Saiyad showed that he could also play off ball as his team had other ball dominant players who needed the ball to shine. Currently he is garnering interest from local schools in the Bay but I wouldn’t be surprised if more schools came calling his way. Colleges who need a speedy floor general should take a look at Saiyad.
Ogle is a smooth passer who was among top 2 top playmakers of the camp. The 5’9″ Rancho Bernardo guard is a pass first guard who looks to create for his teammates. Ogle displays impressive passing ability, had a couple of bounce passes from 20 feet out that hit their target dead on. His passes usually hit the shooters in their shooting pocket which allow them to get their shots off faster. He also displays the ability to hit the outside jumper, which opens up the driving aspect of his game. Ogle can drive and dish and also finish creatively at the rim. He was partnered with Saiyad in the backcourt on his team and like his running mate, he also showed the ability to play off ball if needed. Ogle is one of the underrated prospects that should garner more attention as the season goes on.
Davis came into the day ready to play and pushed the tempo from the first minute. The 6’2″ guard from Oceanside, California is a tempo pusher who is always in attack mode. Davis started the day displaying downhill ability on several drives and attacking the inside. He knows how to get into the paint where he is most effective and scores a number of ways inside. He did a good job of initiating the offense, pushing the ball, and getting the break started. Physically he has good length and size at the guard position. He does a good job of utilizing his length on defense to alter shots and tip passes. Had a highlight worthy moment on a chase down block on a fast break. His mentality and physical attributes are already there, as his jumper progresses, his game will go to another level.
Keishmer Foster
Keishmer Foster
A jack of all trades, Foster excelled and displayed a wide array of skill to his game. The 2023 6’3″ guard plays with a high motor and IQ. On offense he did a great job pushing the tempo, finding the open man, and making right play. He can score from outside as he showed from hitting from all over but he is especially accurate with his corner 3s. Foster did a good job attacking the rim as he can finish with both hands and can adjust and create in mid-air. It wasn’t just his skill that was impressive, he also had great body language and did the little things like picking up teammates and players off of the floor, and running the floor hard. He always seemed to be in the right place at the right time and always made the correct play. Foster will make a big impact for his Aquinas San Bernadino team.
