Fuller has made steady strides both as a ballhandler and spot up shooter. Standing right around 6’1, the senior combo guard showed his confidence this past weekend, posting multiple 20+ point games. Fuller can be deployed efficiently both on and off the ball. As a shooter, he possesses a fairly quick shot that is knockdown off the catch, stretching out behind the NCAA line. One area of noticeable improvement both last weekend and through the summer has come from his finishing touch around the rim. While his touch has certainly improved around the rim, his vertical athleticism has significantly aided his hangtime in the air. Continuing to showcase his mid-range scoring off the bounce and staying aggressive as an on-ball defender will aid his stock. Fuller currently ranks 123rd in the 2023 class and 30th among combo guards.
Cameron Butler Cameron Butler 6'0" Columbine | 2023 CO – Columbine
Butler has been especially active at local events through the second half of the summer, doubling down on his dominance as a perimeter defender and driving volume. This past weekend, Butler averaged 16 points, 4.3 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. Standing right around 6′, the combo guard possesses a very quick first step which allows him to probe inside the paint with ease. Once inside, he is capable using his plus wingspan to finish around contests or draw contact. Butler is one of the flashier passers in his class, utilizing one handed skip passes or no-looks coming out of drives. Continuing to leverage his shooting gravity off the catch will be essential to his upside as a lead playmaker. Butler currently sits 127th in the class and 31st among combo guards.
Noa Phillips Noa Phillips 6'2" Mountain View | 2023 CO – Mountain View
At roughly 6’3, Phillips was truly dominant this past weekend both as a downhill driver and mid-range scoring threat. The combo guard posted 15 points per game on all three levels. Phillips has always possessed a knack for scoring within the mid-range, notably utilizing the turnaround fadeaway following a pump fake. Another development for the combo guard has come from his confidence rising up for shots coming off of on-ball screens. Given his positional size, he is dependable guarding both 1s and 2s, where his reach quickly disrupts opposing drivers. Phillips currently ranks 96th for the class and 19th among combo guards.
Luke Justice Luke Justice 6'1" | SG Frederick | 2023 State CO – Frederick
Justice was on a heater at this event, averaging roughly 27 points per game. The 6’1 lefty shooting guard may be deployed either on or off the ball, possessing three level scoring upside. Justice has a silky smooth game, where he can rise up off the dribble in the mid-range and out the three point line. Due to his shooting gravity, the combo guard is more than capable leveraging his way to the rim, where he is dependable finishing with high arcing floaters. Continuing to be just as valuable as a passer as he is a scorer will be a major x-factor going into his senior season. Justice currently ranks 59th overall and 15th among shooting guards.
