Reece Kircher
About Reece
Expert Analysis
David Gardner | Prep Hoops Scout
A top point guard in his class, he’s a true floor general with multiple gears to put constant pressure on defenses. With excellent command of the Titans’ offense, he effectively sets up his team in half-court sets and keeps them moving in rhythm. On defense, he’s solid and disruptive, creating turnovers and igniting fast breaks. A dangerous shooter from beyond the arc, he’s the type of player you trust with the ball to make the right play. Holding multiple offers already, he’s sure to continue adding more as winter approaches.

Kircher showed his top-tier scoring ability during his time at the Fall League. He scored on different defenders as other teams tried bigger athletic wings and shorter guards to slow him down.
Kircher has an effective handle including a fast crossover that helps him beat defenders. He found success attacking mismatches using his speed and creative angles to get to the rim.
Kircher is a strong finisher once he gets by defenders. He showed a bevy of different moves once he got to the rim that allowed him to finish over taller players. He sought out contact on his drives which sent him to the line several times a game.
Kircher’s passing was almost as impressive as his scoring over several games. He consistently found shooters on kickouts for open threes a valuable skill for the next level.
An area of improvement for Kircher would be not getting stuck well below the free-throw line. There were a couple of times were he was forced into turnovers due to getting too deep on drives. Kircher and his teammate

Comfortable with the ball in his hands, Kircher demonstrated effective playmaking skills. His ability to drive to the lane, finish with both hands, and make smart decisions contributed to the Titans’ offensive efficiency.

is a treat to watch. The guard out of Papio South had a solid summer with ETG on the Adidas Circuit. He’s an incredibly tough and steady point guard with a large offensive skillset. Kircher also has a beautiful jumper from the outside, but does not fall in love with his three, as he will often look to put his head down and get to the rim. Last winter for Papio South, Kircher averaged over 10 points and nearly 3 assists per game. I expect him to have a breakout Junior year.

Kircher is a very shifty, quick, and unpredictable guard in the 2025 class. He plays with great pace and due to his arsenal of playmaking moves, he is tough to contain. His ability to facilitate and create shots on slashes is another aspect of his game that stands out. On time passes and he can flat out thread the needle on the break. He is able to make some tough passes and find cutting bigs for drops or draw two drive and kicks.
