The 6’6 guard will be a high upside name within Colorado, due to his versatile shot making and potential as a multi-positional defender. Hailing from Omaha, Bashir will be looking to boost his stock after arriving from Minnesota Prep. The guard is capable making tough jump shots, whether through pull-ups or coming off curls. He has shown flashes hitting off-balance jumpers out beyond the NCAA line, leaving room for growth as a volume perimeter scorer. Teammate Justin Daniels Justin Daniels 6'4" | SG Colorado Prep | 2023 CO immediately shares some stylistic similarities to Bashir. As of now, the shooting guard has one offer from Old Dominion.
Colin Hawkins Colin Hawkins 6'3" St. Mary’s | 2023 CO – 2023
At roughly 6’2, Hawkins brings toughness and patience as a big bodied lead guard. Weighing roughly 210 pounds, Hawkins is a bully getting downhill while possessing the strength to fight in the post on the opposite end. The lefty has continued to boost his stock as a perimeter shooter, where he is dependable off the catch from three. Hawkins will be a key playmaker for Colorado Prep, where his drive and kick game will be invaluable for their perimeter threats. Hawkins currently ranks 6th within the 2023 class and first among combo guards while also receiving an offer from West Point. Areas worth monitoring will be Hawkins’s dominance as a perimeter defender and his role as a lead communicator.
Aden Haas – 2023
Right around 6’5, Haas will be an excellent floor spacer and hustle threat within this group. The wing possesses a quick shot off the catch, either stationary or while coming off a screen. Within the mid-range, Haas is a deadeye rising into the shot off of movement. Although an off-ball threat, Haas makes the most of his role. The wing prioritizes pushing the break, where he is typically one of the first down the floor. Areas worth monitoring are his footspeed out on the perimeter and halfcourt scoring versatility.
Justin Daniels Justin Daniels 6'4" | SG Colorado Prep | 2023 CO – 2023
Standing right around 6’5, Daniels is a high upside shooting guard with D1 athletic talents and immediate sharpshooting dependability. He is excellent shooting from the three-point line either off the catch, rising up after a dribble, or going into a side-step. Given his quick first step, Daniels has high potential as a driver and slasher on backdoor cuts. Thanks to his quick first step and lateral mobility, the shooting guard may also be deployed as a staunch one on one defender. Areas worth monitoring are Daniels’s willingness to score using the left hand and playmaking tendencies when attacking downhill. The shooting guard has interest including but not limited to Cal, New Mexico, Clemson, Santa Barbara, and Charleston.
Aiden Carnevale – 2023
Standing no less than 6’8, Carnevale is a high IQ forward with room to grow as an athlete and perimeter threat. Within the post, Carnevale stays calm under double teams, consistently surveying the floor to make a smart swing pass. With his pivot foot steadily improving, he will continue to get more refined as a low post threat and decisionmaker. Building on the jump shot, specifically off the catch will be necessary for Carnevale to become a true stretch 4. Area’s worth monitoring for Carnevale will be his shooting confidence when left open and playmaking potential out of the post.
