Biah is one of the top on-ball defenders in the state, and he was a menace on that end of the floor in the Muskies’ win over City High. His lateral movement and competitiveness on that end of the floor are rivaled by few, and he does a great job using his prowess on the defensive end to spark his, and Muscatine’s, offense. He had 18 points on 5-7 shooting (8-10 FT), 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals against the Little Hawks.

A dynamic downhill, attacking guard with speed, physicality, and a willingness to embrace contact, Biah is a tough finisher around the rim who puts constant pressure on opposing teams with his aggressive style on both ends of the floor. He’s a strong on-ball defender who moves his feet well and uses his quick hands to pick opposing ball-handlers clean routinely. He averaged 10.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game on 55.6% shooting last season.

Biah averaged 6.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game as a sophomore for the Muskies on 52-36-68 shooting splits. He’s a really good athlete who uses his speed to his advantage, playing downhill and attacking the rim off the dribble routinely. He’s a good enough shooter from 3-point range that he can’t be sagged off of, and that allows him to blow by defenders who don’t close out disciplined against him.
