Preseason Player of the Year: 2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1167727' first='Mason' last='Crouse'] (East Mills)

Crouse led the league in scoring last season and helped lead the Wolverines to an undefeated conference record. The best player on the league's best team is a pretty easy selection for the POY.

First Team

2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1167727' first='Mason' last='Crouse'] (East Mills): 20.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.4 steals, 50.3 FG%, 40.2 3P%

A versatile three-level scoring wing, Crouse put together a dominant junior year for the Wolverines, leading the conference in scoring and showing his ability to score at an extremely efficient clip.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1409590' first='Braden' last='West'] (East Mills): 13.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.3 blocks, 50.9 FG%

An athletic and physical 6-4 forward, West had a solid summer playing with the OSA Crusaders against high-level competition and looks primed to make a major leap as a senior. He's the type of athlete who can really dominate games at this level.

2023 Taylor Reed (Fremont-Mills): 13.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.8 steals, 1.1 blocks

Reed paired with Jake Malcom to give the Knights a solid one-two punch in the paint last season. An athletic and physical forward who can rebound at a high level on both ends of the floor, this will be his team this year.

2023 Colton Brennan (Heartland Christian): 14.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.4 steals

A 5-9 guard who does a little bit of everything for the Eagles, Brennan led the team in scoring and assists as a junior.

2023 Kamron Brownlee (Griswold): 12.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.1 steals

Griswold won just four games last season, but with four of their top five scorers returning, they should be improved. Brownlee led the team in scoring and rebounding as a junior.
