Crockett beat defenders with his knack for reading and reacting to the defense out of the pick and roll, often by utilizing a change of pace, direction, speed, or hesitation dribble to freeze the defense before penetrating the lane. Crafty, well-talented dribbler with a tight handle and excellent control, Billy has the ball on a string and can break a defender down in one-on-one situations and get through traffic pretty well thanks to his instinctual counter moves while slicing through the defense.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"id":"block_6310ef5dfea36","name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1560939"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Although he was one of the shorter prospects in attendance he was more than capable of getting to his spots, creating separation and angles to attack along with the elevation and arc to fire over the top of the defense in the mid-range. Lovings proved to be a super quick and fast lefty who could eat a defender alive with his two-dribble pull-up and first step off the dribble. This kid touched the paint at a high rate and once was at the rack you could count on him to complete the play with one of his many crafty lay-ins.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"id":"block_6310cd26fea34","name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1568449"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1568449' first='Amare' last='Guerra'] is one of the most solid two-way players of them all, showing game-changing skills, abilities, and productivity on a consistent basis. Defensively, Guerra's toughness and desire for the ball were on full display, one of the few players willing to dive onto the floor and tussle for 50/50 balls. This kid was easily one of the most gritty, hungry, and pesky defenders I had the pleasure to watch all day. [player_tooltip player_id='1568449' first='Amare' last='Guerra'] got all into his man's space and chest the moment they crossed halfcourt, creating costly turnovers. On the offensive end, Guerra showcased an impressively quick trigger off the bounce from the mid and long range, often by walking his defender down while stepping into his pull-up jumper. But Amare was at his best and a true problem whenever he was coming at his man downhill. Due to his hyper-speed and knack for leaning into his defender's hip, Guerra was able to get into the teeth of the defense or anywhere he wanted on the floor. He was so shifty that not many defenders wanted a shot at guarding. His handles put defenders on skates, constantly making them look silly by keeping them turning and even causing them to spin completely around on some occasions. [player_tooltip player_id='1568449' first='Amare' last='Guerra'] was not only a very good space creator with his dribble but also with his offhand, and his shoulder which he used to protect the ball and gain an advantage on the attack.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"id":"block_6310cd44fea35","name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1560929"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1560929' first='Kelan' last='Collins'] could really maneuver through a defense and get whatever offense he was looking for off of the bounce. Collins loves to come downhill at his opponent or blow by them with his explosive first step. At times, it seemed like Collins could get to the basket at will and when he got there he showed great concentration combined with a knack for finishing contested layups through all sorts of contact midair.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"id":"block_6310ccb6fea30","name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1560923"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1560923' first='Kingston' last='Willis'] had to be one of the most gifted ball-handler in the entire showcase, the instinctual moves he made and counter-attack dribbles he was able to pull out of his bag while moving at top speed were wildly impressive and effective. Willis controlled the tempo and pushed the pace each game. This point guard led the fastbreak on countless occasions, so got down the floor so early and often that all of his teammates began to run the floor with him looking for an easy two points or a highlight reel slam dunk off an alley-oop from Willis. The Faith Family freshman displayed the skills to get to any spot on the floor despite intense defensive pressure. Willis showed a special knack for getting deep into the teeth of the defense, showing an insane amount of potential as a drive-and-kick artist or relentless slasher. As [player_tooltip player_id='1560923' first='Kingston' last='Willis'] works to improve his upper body strength and ability to absorb contact while finishing through it at the rim he'll surely become a terror to deal with in isolation or in a spaced-out halfcourt setting.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"id":"block_6310cd06fea33","name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1225437"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Although [player_tooltip player_id='1225437' first='Braden' last='Wathen'] was listed as a Second Team All-Showcase Performer, he was still one of the most underrated players in the building. Wathen proved himself as a pure floor general who put on a show with his playmaking skillset. Very high ceiling prospect with D1 potential, Wathen sees the game at such a high level that he's usually able to make something out of nothing as only a true point guard can do. Elite dribbler with an unpluckable handle, there was no stealing this kid's ball, his handle was extremely polished and well-honed with exceptionally impressive ball skills, a bundle of fast-paced moves off the bounce, and terrific instincts with the ball, always knew exactly what to do at the right times. Wathen was super quick with a natural feel for getting to his spots in the mid-range and didn't have to over-dribble to get the shot he was looking for either, Braden took care of the ball well and didn't make costly turnovers at all. When it came to scoring the 5-foot-9 lead guard was as dynamic of a bucket-getter as they come, showing all of the makings of a pure shot-creating playmaker who's capable of setting himself and his teammates up with nice clean looks at the basket. Precision passer, has solid alley-oop accuracy, and a heightened ability to throw pinpoint oops from the opposite side of the floor. Remember the name [player_tooltip player_id='1225437' first='Braden' last='Wathen'], he will be teaming up with 4-star combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='787323' first='Finley' last='Bizjack'] for his freshman season and will have the opportunity to learn alongside him and make a run at a Texas state title.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview"} /-->
