[player_tooltip player_id='1424926' first='Xander' last='Salas'] (Green City): It was my first time seeing this 2025 point guard play in person and I was very impressed with his overall play. He plays at a Class 1 school, but he plays with a ton of confidence against all of the big-school talent. His pace was excellent as he was constantly pushing the ball. His is a master of the mid-range jumper as he was constantly getting to his sweet spot and elevating on the jumper. He also got into the lane and dropped some impressive dimes while on the move.

[player_tooltip player_id='1430528' first='Mason' last='Dunlap'] (Eureka): The 6'0" 2024 point guard displayed excellent playmaking skills combined with his ability to score. He was very good at distributing the basketball in a variety of ways, including the pocket pass on the pick and roll or the nifty dime in transition. His head was always on a swivel. He has good pace, smooth handles and he can drop in a pull-up 3-pointer or wiggle his way to the middle area to hit the 15-footer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1448480' first='Sean' last='LaRose'] (Affton): The 5'11" combo guard was in attack mode throughout the camp as he showcased his ability to get buckets in a variety of ways. He was really good at creating off the bounce as he could get into traffic to score in the lane or set up his defender with the escape move to knock down the perimeter jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='1161289' first='Isaac' last='Danielson'] (Kirksville): The 6'2" 2023 point guard is a hometown kid who has been a standout since his freshman year. His handles were good and he did a good job of setting up teammates and getting them the ball where they could operate. He was also hitting the open 3-pointer and getting to the basket on the straight-line drive.

Kenzie Reed (Cedar Rapids, IA): A 5'10" 2023 point guard with good quickness who distributed the ball very well. He played the pass-first role expertly as he dropped some impressive no-look dimes. He could also call his own number to get a bucket on the drive and he can hit the open 3-pointer.

Colby Dolphin (Cedar Rapids, IA): A 5'10" 2023 point guard who really got on a nice roll from 3-point range in the game that I watched him. The lefty can shoot the ball while also being able to attack off the dribble and getting into the lane.

Chris Ellis II (St Michael the Archangel): A 2026 point guard who did an excellent job as a very young player playing up against the older guys. He has good quickness and he's very shifty on the dribble. He also displayed good 3-point range in the game I watched.

Joshua Wheeler (St Michael the Archangel): A 2026 point guard who was another young player who more than held his own at the camp. He has slick handles and he could create off the dribble. He was hitting 3-pointers and getting into the lane to score on runners and floaters.
