Class of 2024 Positional Rankings: Shooting Guards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are nine shooting guards currently ranked in the Prep Hoops Indiana Top 25 including a couple of the biggest stock-risers in this update. Leading the position group is [player_tooltip player_id='1158245' first='Jack' last='Benter'] (Brownstown Central H.S. 2024), the lone player who is currently committed in the Class of 2024. Benter, a 6'5" guard with outstanding skill level, announced his commitment to the Purdue Boilermakers back on July 14th. He was one of the top scorers on the 16u UAA Circuit over the summer and will continue to climb the IHSAA all-time scoring list over the next two seasons at Brownstown Central. Benter is ranked #2 overall in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='1158179' first='Ajani' last='Washington'] (Concordia Lutheran 2024) is a high-upside guard that can score the basketball from all three levels. He checks in at #7 overall and continues to garner more Division I interest after a strong summer with Indy Heat Red 2024. Another shooting guard who has great scoring ability and a lot of potential is [player_tooltip player_id='1275771' first='Ron' last='Rutland III'] (Crispus Attucks H.S. 2024) who is now #11 in the class. Rutland is an outstanding athlete with great body control around the basket. He has an offer currently from IUPUI. Rounding out the top five at the position are [player_tooltip player_id='1158209' first='Aaron' last='Fine'] (Noblesville H.S. 2024) and [player_tooltip player_id='1158191' first='Taden' last='Metzger'] (Fishers H.S. 2024). The 6'3" Fine has good playmaking ability, scores it in a variety of ways, and is a good passer. As for Metzger, he is one of the very best shooters in the state of Indiana. His catch-and-shoot ability is a truly elite skill and will give an added dimension for a talented Fishers squad after transferring from Marion.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block
